Can you imagine yourselves on stage with an audience of 200,000 people before you ? That's quite a following you have going. Congrats to you for success at homesteading examples and inspiring life ❤ you are very much admired. Love your way of life and all the critters too...many Blessings to you. Spokane, WA.

Oh how, in many ways, I miss Spokane. Sadly they no longer have Playfair, which was my life and livelihood. My farm/homestead was way out west of town, roughly in the Rambo Rd x Lincoln Rd vicinity (north of Airway Heights).

So glad to see Olivia practicing her casting for fishing. Fishing was my favorite hobby but don't get to go much anymore. Sure do miss it. Thanks again for sharing your lives with us. Put 5 minute epoxy on the bottom of the legs and let it harden. This will prevent the water from being absorbed in the end grain of the feet and prevent rotting of the wood when it is in the pasture.

Congratulations on the 200,000 subscribers. That is wonderful. You have taught somany people (not just homesteaders, how to build things and grow things and most importantly, how to work together as a team. Y'all are great teachers. Dinner looked delicious. Could you do a video about the pellet cooker? I like the idea that you are abe to use it in an enclosed space which for me would be a screened porch. So much nicer, you don't have to wait for a day that is not raining. Have a Blessed day.

Al: use some strong magnets on the kickstand and the other legs, this way you do not have to worry about making sure the clips catch correctly. you can get magnets with a center hole for mounting and then just use a small flat piece of steel or iron for it to click on to.

Congrats on 200k! I once made a project using conduit straps to hold the axles on. They got mangled and pulled off when one of the wheels got stuck on something. The solution was to bolt pieces of angle iron on the wooden frame using lag bolts. The bottom of the L faces away from the wood. Drill holes in the angle and use a U bolt to hold the axle on. They have never pulled out. Your original coop design was pulled by a person I believe. The tractor will generate much more pulling power. Great project!

In Australia a lot of bbq chicken is done with a beer can. Half full can. You stand the chicken up on the open can and cook as normal. It makes a beautifully moist flavoured bird. You can cook it like this in your kitchen as well. It is fun tasting the different flavours with different types of beer

We had the same issue with UPS deliveries in Tucson. Packages had arrived to the Tucson UPS facility, but languished for up to 2 weeks before they were delivered. It turns out that a number of the workers at the facility had contracted COVID-19, resulting in staffing shortages. Additional workers were brought in from facilities in neighboring New Mexico to help with the package backlog. The ‘new COVID-19 reality’ is that when ordering something, be patient and expect delays. Several businesses that I’ve ordered from for years have stopped offering expedited, or 2-day, delivery, as UPS, FedEx, and the USPS have been overwhelmed with the volume of packages that on some days eclipses the Christmas package volume. I’m delighted when a package arrives!

That's a BIG chicken on the grill! Is that one of your own birds? Your lettuces look great, mine already bolted and I'm going to plant another batch this week. My tomatoes have blooms on them, so that's good. Congrats on the 200K! That is fantastic!

They make a vertical wire stand to put in the chicken cavity to keep it upright. Or you could do beer can chicken, where you stick a half full can of beer (or ginger ale if you don't drink alcohol ) in the cavity as a vertical stand. It flavors the bird and makes it very moist ☺

Hey Al, Put a couple pieces of plastic pipe or Hose on the bottom of your mobile chicken tractor will be a whole lot more Mobile.if you only have a few small pieces put them on the side and at the back of frame or strip of metal as runner's. I hope that helps

You guys are doing awesome...simple question, what is you main camera, that sucker is really clear! Cutting food out of the garden and bringing it straight to the table with no middlemen has me so jealous. I wish the climate I live in would be inviting to do something similar, unfortunately, not at this time. Thanks for letting us tag along.

for the legs on the chicken coop get your self a couple of small magnets and washers, use the magnets on the frame and the washers on the legs and they will keep the legs locked up while you move the coop...

Gina, if you give the kale a bit of a rough “massage” after washing it, it tenderizes it even more for salad. Your salad looks divine.

Now add a magnet and a washer so that the legs can be moved and held in place while you move it.

Loews and HomeDepot sell chamfered washer and flat powerful magnet sets that really work well. They will hold those legs up while moving

Hello I’m a 84 year old disabled US Marine of the Korean and Vietnam wars. I REALLY enjoy ALL your episodes. It gives me great pleasure. I particularly like your calm consistent approach to all matters ; that includes your wife and your daughter. I mean their personalities.
It appears that all of your equipment and facilities are new, where did you and where do you get all of your money to do this?
Are you a transport from New York City or Boston where you had a successful career? Anyway I love your Show.
