oh my goodness I love this recap!! I've always been more into book omens rather than the tv show just because there are so many things about it that just *work* in book form rather than a bunch of hour long episodes, and this video just perfectly sums up the chaos of the book! I know that this is an English project but I'd love to see a season 2 recap maybe?? Your humour really made this video extremely entertaining and I sent it to all the friends that I've infected with my obsession over this show/book lmao

I mean, he doesn't actually show up in the book. I'm pretty sure this is more book-accurate than show-accurate, given they also left out the ending of Aziraphale and Crowley being punished but switching places or mentioning Aziraphale being called a slur at the birthday party for example.

Well it was the Metatron who was at the airbase in the book, but honestly he was never really important in the book either, just kinda a representative
Although it was the Metatron in the books it is funny when you think about it because the change from the Metatron to Gabriel in the show did make an impact. It made Neil/ some people into ineffable bureaucracy shippers by seeing Gabriel and Beelzebub’s interaction. And season 2 had a plot revolving them. If they kept the show accurate season 2 would have been different.
