You should sell it to me. I’d love to have another. I’m currently rebuilding one that my dad used when he was a kid. It’s very sentimental to me. But it’s in no where near the shape of yours. He said they used to cut a couple hundred cord of wood a year for many years with that saw. Then it did a lot of sitting in his shed til he finally handed it to me. And I’ve been slowly getting it back to what it was. It’s awesome to see one in the shape of yours! Definitely a cool saw!
@@shanemccormick7478 I would but I don’t have this one anymore unfortunately. I do have a 272k concrete saw that is NOS and never had gas that can be converted to a chainsaw I would sell
I have the same exact saw !!! My Dad bought me mine when I was 19 yo. 300 Series manufactured in 1989. I think mine was bought in 90-91 and I let it sit for 27 yrs and never used it. I regret not having the cover case for the whole saw. I only buy 90 octane ethanol gas now. What is your ID#’s?
I had a 20" branch fall out of the tree, broke a power pole, snapped the line, started my chicken coop on fire; broke out the 272XP 32 inch bar, I hadn't started it in 9 years (2014). Filed the chain, dumped out the old gas, put some fresh in, gave her a few slow pulls to feed some gas, FIRED RIGHT UP, ate that 20" Elm like nothing. I hired an arborist to clean up the overburden in the tree and he runs a 12" bar Sthil, can't even saw through a whole branch, takes like 3 min a cut, 272 ett that branch in 20 seconds. I just stand there shaking my head at him, I offered him my saw but he's too proud to "use a homeowner's saw", I said "Well then you better get a real one", told him about Holtzfarma, be good enough for what he does I'm not too sure about this younger generation, all bark no bite.

That is awesome! Great score!
That would be a 1989 vintage. Husqvarna was founded in 1689. I have a 266 XP 300th anniversary model in similar condition. That’s a very nice saw.

Tahun berapa husqvarna 268 di buat ?
1987 to 1991 in the US for the XP version.
I hope you don't use 50; 1 , that's only 2 percent oil, a death with ethanol gas.
Nope, sure don’t. It ain’t enough oil for the bearings
