10 NEW THINGS IN ARK SURVIVAL ASCENDED, ASA Things you didn't notice! My PC Build:

Few things, once a stat reaches full it stops, so unless you are cold and constantly draining your stamina out going over food cap massively like that is pointless, with 1250 crafting skill, my two favorite recipes are 2 eggs for food and 33 mejo berries for water. You can also feed dinos custom food but the only benefit they will get is stamina. So if you make a massive stamina recipe and feed it to a flyer they will actually slowly accumulate stamina while slow flying. The effect will end once stamina is full though.

Hmm...The over time thing is a bit concerning. As I remember from AsE if you are gaining you then you won't lose any stats as long as the gains are happening. This was a mechanic that allowed stimberries to stop torpor. Did they fix this to be only stims in AsA or is it still any gain pauses overtime losses?

Should have talked about the weight of the crafted food. The more you put into your recipe, the heavier the food. A stack of 10 burgers or drinks can weight an insanely high amount.

Hi ^^ , does it have to be a dodo egg? Or any other small dino egg works for the recipe? , right now with the release of scorched earth, there is no dodo there haha
dodo and giga egg are identical when it comes to custom recipes so you can use any egg you want.
Instead of ele drain I been using soul trap for the resources and dot. Might wanna give it a try. I like both but I feel like a do more damage with the dot than I do with the pen from ele drain
Depends if ur under pen cap. Also ele sus is good for the status effects

@@bread9677 It doesn't work for blueprints, but it does increase custom recipes. It's really easy for you to verify by making one, then taking a focal and taking it again, you'll see your crafting skill on the recipe go up. It's not double but for customs it matters.
@@dunkan44 didnt work when i tryed i had 1000 crafting skill made a recipe gave 10 crafting skill on it took a focal still gave 10 crafting skill on it when i made another and didnt give me more water/health
Made one double that on all stats.

how do u make weight cakes whats the recipe
My recipes i make are just 20 or 40 raw meat with stim or mejo
get like 10 dodos and put them on a shelf with their asses over a ramp. eggs fall to bottom.@@FATMAC2

custom recipes do not work for dinos, so your best bet would be either kibble or meat@@etowngftddummy

No, dinos only benefit from the stamina when it comes to custom food.
For the algorithm
Guys focal chili does nothing for your crafting percentages it only makes movement speed faster and on person craft speed faster. Meaning if you craft arrows on yourself it's faster. Crafting it in the cooking pot does not go faster and does NOT increase the crafting bonus from focal chili
Bro literally dawg, craft with a chilli, and craft without it shows you the difference xD
But the ui is bugged, when you consume a chilli, it doesn’t show your skill goes up but it affects it
It affects the custom recipe creation, increasing it by another 100% or 1.0 more skill.
How do I open the UI to make a new food?
Hold E on the cooking pot. I'm not sure what he's doing

you can archive the same basically with like 1/10th of the weight(eggs are disgusting in that regard), using different ingredients
plus, food that gives more then like 200 food/water is a waste too!
i prefer having around 8.8weight for 20 stacks food & water together, but i like efficiency, over "op-stats"
with a char around lvl110:
*3 adv crops = over 200 water*
*8-10meat = 130 food (cooked meat even more food for less)*
*25-30 stim berries= around 150 food & 200-300(?something like that) stamina*
oh yeah *1 stack of cooked prime = ~800 food/health ( weights a fraction of that egg using recipe!)*

It's not for the speed of reg?
But it still fills over time. So if you are in snow your food in dropping and going up. Unlike cooked meat or water that gives a flat rate instantly your food could be going up without hitting max. Also 100 is the starting Stat. You can raise it
