It's a core expansion Not only can you drop your weapons, you can use this to override the limit that you can go to missions while being overburdened if you really needed that extreme firepower with a mech that can't carry all of the weapons. Also don't worry about purging because if the mission has a checkpoint or scherpa, you will get all those dropped weapons back
I love the way the game crams so much characterization into so little time. Most of these enemy pilots don't stick around for very long, but they make the most of their limited screen time.
Not even gonna lie. I didn't know I had an option here. I kind of ended up just shooting him up so fast. The screen didn't even pop-up. I thought his dialogue was just dialogue, nothing more.

Rusty and ayre are absolutely my favorites in this. Ayre just has this gentle genuine care you don't find in this world. Even Walter still kinda treats you hard, understandable, but at least he still has some care. Rusty calling you buddy and just...seeming really cool with you. Made this feel way less depressing than other AC games and I loved that. Made it feel real like some people still didn't let everything corrupt em or such.@@rexex345

the funny thing here isn't that they didn't want people knowing any merc was there, but that they didn't know who did it, so it's completely fine to leave the city filled with smoking craters as long as nobody knows you're the one who did it
it's stealthy in the same way a stealth bomber is you run under the radar using a specific profile and lots of speed, but what you do in the process makes ton of noise
i didnt know you could turn him into a one shot after you accept the offer i jsut either handled what came after or just straight up killed him the traditional way. I'll give this one a try
I love how the RLF backup doesn't come for you when you do that. It tells us two things: 1. He's a hypocrite, claiming to hate betrayers but letting you go on this. 2. He likely started boosting in and then had to come to a halt in shock over how coldly you backstabbed.

RLF, this is Odstarva (read Maximillian Thermidor) of ORCA I heard you need to assassinate someone but I'm dummy thicc and the claps of my malfunction main boosters keep alerting the enemy
they're using MTs and drones all around it's probably noisy everywhere and the pilots themselves have their surrounding sounds drowned out by their own mechs even if an AC sounded different from MTs, they probably won't suspect an AC sound because they would have thought that it could have come from Swinburne
Very few people who haven’t been in one realise how deafeningly loud armoured vehicles and combat aircraft are. If you’re in one you’re wearing multilayer hearing protection, all you can hear really is your comms and some hint of the noise coming from your own vehicle.
To be fair by this point of the game no one has tried to beg for mercy let alone see an option to accept or refuse his request. You just keep shooting and slashing till they are dead since we’ve been taught to do that since the 1st AC game.
Of course, sparing him and wait for a bit, you can then fight Rokumonsen. If you thought Swinburne is funny with his dialogue, Rokumonsen sounds like someone out of a Toku series. And yes, sparing Swinburne is the only way to get the next battle log by killing Rokumonsen. Don't worry about losing your 200k pay, because Swinburne at least honors his end of the bargain by paying you 270k for the trouble.
I knew you could spare him, and I know you can kill him so fast his offer doesn't even happen. But I didn't know you could kill him *AFTER you said yes.*
I appreciate the warframe reference, and during this mission I just, learned to aim manually to shoot them from outside their ranges (the surveillance MT's I mean), and then when I fought Swinburne, I rejected his offer, ran out of ammo, and decked him to death.
Alternatively in the same spirit, you can instead go to the right up along the wall itself and there's maybe 6 cameras all in a straight line through each other that are too far apart to see you coming. Makes it very easy to bypass the cameras you don't run over and the aerial drones engaging you don't count for being detected.
It is incredibly satisfying to know that every mission in this game is beatable with no weapons. You can make a pure pugilist mech and destroy anything if you've got the stones and the moves.

Good god, I've done this so many times and I never knew you could punch his lights out after accepting the bribe! This is glorious! But I did the same thing after like 3-4 runs of this, just used the scanner head and then hop up and nuke the enemies, becuase going around the wall edge got tedious after so many times.
Quite a few times, when I’m trying to kill Shinobi, I accidentally Pile Bunker him to hard. Me: Aight just one more love tap. Swinburne: *DIES* Me: Oops.
The paranoid guy gets assassinated with no trace. The careful one gets used as bait by her superiors. The one who is always augmenting himself dies despite just getting his biggest upgrade. The samurai dies in honorable combat. The one who was trapped being an AC pilot because of his debt dies in a hole. The commander who tried to use Raven as cannon fodder was killed by him. The mercendary liason got assassinated on contract by a mercenary. The carnival clown lost but still cheated you in death. The man of few words couldn't finish his sentence before he died. The handler was brainwashed into being someone else's puppet. Anyone else notice any interesting themes in the AC6 character deaths? Post them in the replies.

Good god, I've done this so many times and I never knew you could punch his lights out after accepting the bribe! This is glorious! But I did the same thing after like 3-4 runs of this, just used the scanner head and then hop up and nuke the enemies, becuase going around the wall edge got tedious after so many times.
