It would be 100% deserved. During these events, gameplay showcases are often awkward or flat out bad. What he did was amazing not just for our entertainment, but also for the developers themselves as he created something that we'll all remember.
The 2 seconds of him boost-hopping on the water told me all I needed to know of his pedigree, that of a fellow veteran Raven. His actions following once the boss showed up were what is expected of Ravens such as us. The Mission Before The Fall.
I thought about adding that but non AC players may have struggled to appreciate that detail, while everyone can enjoy the aerial fistfight of destiny 😅
They say on some nights, or in the morning...just as the moon sets, or sunrises over Rubicon's wartorn places... you'll see the sky light up great fields of battle once more, hearing the Fireworks of Shibuya ringing out...
When I think "reasons why Elden Ring was so insanely successful even From can't pinpoint why", I think of how the game is designed to allow so much variety of gameplay styles, how this translates into skill expression, and ultimately how it doesn't just make a player feel like a "legend" for overcoming the game's challenges, but opens the door to actually *being* a legend in the wider community. Let Me Solo Her was the most visible example of this in Elden Ring. It feels good to see that, just in pre-release promotional material alone, that same philosophy of design is producing new legends. I mean, as hyped as I am for this game, I didn't expect to see a dude casually discard his gatling cannon and fistfight some manner of airship, and *win*, but I now I've seen a stranger casually do just that and now I'm even more hyped.
That philosophy of design began in Armored Core and was passed on to Souls, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring. From knew it works, and they'll never touch it.
We couldnt name but the protagonist in past bethesda games for what they did.... but the player was always gonna do that Here... Here we look at what the players did to surpass the normalcy Characters destined to be but barely something, fire for a burning light, vessel for a decayed land, dog hunting for their own survival... Yet we gained the oppertunity to pass it and be recognized for it, forsaking all but broken tools, forsaking strange arts to empour and just being stubborn, defeating the hardest boss thousands of times flawlessly and while shes empowered by coop buffs... Speeding up to mach 4 and still knowing what we are doing Effortlessly maneuvering a tank like a goddamn supercar Utilizing strategy to easily win a duel between veterans And then, randomly showing up as if a phantom, downing the number 9 additvely and demonstrating near total mastery of movement in a game he didnt even play yet, to punch the enemy... Legends are born of the destiny they deny, not the one they seek
Seems like a lot of AC6 players don't even know why this guy becomes a legend, and just boast "I can do better than this". Because he: -literally played AC6 for the first time (it's in a pre-release event) -only given one minute to pick his AC's parts -knew nothing about the mission other than only "defending stuff" And he assembled his AC on time, breeze through the mission in one go without repairing, and ended the mission in style. (The staff even expected him to fail the mission for further assembly tips) Yeah, everyone can beat this mission on a cakewalk, but guess you can't do it with such handicap eh?
I don't understand a lot about AC since i'm new to this franchise, but the sheer of determination on this guy gave me goosebumps, literally fist fighting a boss. Salute to you, Fireworks of Shibuya o7
Its assault boost. Apparently works similar to, but not the same as AC4's chain boosting. Which im really glad its not back entirely. I think the main thing here is that it has to be activated and its limited in use. Which is great because spamming chain boosts made multiplayer limited in combat strategy and single player missions were limited to extremely wide and open maps which were mostly boring. Some missions were memorable though. But was hard to remember when we all defeated the bosses in like 5 seconds flat with how OP your AC was in 4 and 4A 🤣 horribly unbalanced. Hopefully AC6 brings back the strategy in building again. And hopefully the missions are more elaborate too. ACV was heading in the right direction and was a better AC experience but I think AC6 looks more like what AC was supposed to be about.
Fireworks is legit an inspiration. I *want* to get good because of this. I *want* to master melee because of this. And I want to do it *my way* just like he did it his way. I've never played Armored Core before, but now I want to earn the right to be in a match with Fireworks. You are a living legend of this franchise, and you made Shibuya proud.
AC veterans, a moment please: We can simply *punch* our way through this game. If that doesn’t impress you, then you never cared about gameplay get out of my sight.
I need to see this man immortalized ingame as a fallen raven in the epicenter of an Arms Fort graveyard. And I'm not talking about just 7 or so AFs.... I'm talking about literal sea of them, requiring us to delve in for a few minutes to discover the Easter egg.
Rise high, Raven. Like me, your journey to become the best is only beginning. But everyone knows, old or new, a Raven is still a Raven, and every Raven has the ability to fly high, and reach the top. It's time to fly, Fireworks of Shibuya.
Oddly enough I had some classic toonami playing on my TV while watching this. Right as this legend made it to the bridge I heard a panicked scream of "There's a Gundam down here!". I think all of us are in for a treat.
FromSoft actually has made Gundam games before, like their Gundam Unicorn game, and the Another Century's Era series of crossover games. They never got released outside of Japan though IIRC.
It has one. Cant remember but it was a PS2 game I believe. You can choose either Zeon or the Federation if i'm not mistaken or was it purely Zeon...and I'm not sure but you can choose any mech to use for the mission/campaign. Still to this day, cant remember its name. I played it when I was still in Japan.
So for context why this guy is such a legend, he was given a total of 60 seconds to build a mech in a game he had _never played before_. In the final moments of the fight, he actually ran out of ammo in his guns, which automatically purged them from his AC's system. With nothing else he could do, he was forced to punch down a wholeass PCA heavy warship before it obliterated the missiles he was defending.
The Blood of Principal Zeon flows through him. I am really glad that we have FIST mechanics this IS what I was looking for. Fireworks of Shibuya its a badass mech name indeed. Can't wait to meet him on battlefield.
I just finished this mission today and with proper preparation you can breeze this level, I took alot of time prepping but this guy only had a minute of prep time yet he still managed to complete it and looked like a badass doing it, truly a Chad and I salute you sir o7
A barrage of missiles turned into nukes at his disposal, those who lived to tell the tale say his close quarters combat skills are equivalent to taking c4 to the face. Emitting a blazing aura, explosive yet dazzling on the battlefield, locals called him one name - "Hanabi".
You know someone is a Raven vets when the fight feels like a mecha movie scene and not just running randomly. him and his AC deserve to be boss/in trailer someday
Fist fighting a space ship is so straight from gundam, when the mc already used all his weapon and then proceed using beam saber but still no effect and in desperation just start punching the enemy boss

ARMORED PUNCH! ARMORED PUNCH!
They need to name an AC part Shibuya, he was that good.
It would be 100% deserved. During these events, gameplay showcases are often awkward or flat out bad. What he did was amazing not just for our entertainment, but also for the developers themselves as he created something that we'll all remember.
Shibuya is a well know part of Tokyo so that name would be misleading to many. Maybe 花火 (hanabi, fireworks) would be better.
Imagine if they put in a mechfist instead of laser blade codenamed 'SBY-0819' to commemorate both him and this event.
Shibuya isn't his name, it's literally the part of Tokyo he's from.
If they named anything Shibuya everyone would just think it's named after that...
And on that day... John Rubicon was born.
The 2 seconds of him boost-hopping on the water told me all I needed to know of his pedigree, that of a fellow veteran Raven.
His actions following once the boss showed up were what is expected of Ravens such as us. The Mission Before The Fall.
Finding out he only had 1 min to make his AC is insane, I’m so pumped for this game!
I'm all out of bullets...
*Drops both of his mini guns*
But not out of options.
*proceeds to throw hands with a fleet*
前作を10年やり続けてる現役プレイヤーだったそうな。これがイレギュラー……。
*ditch guns*
boss: so, where's your weapons?
"Fireworks of Shibuya: my fist are my weapons and unlike guns, they don't run out of bullets!
We got "Red Comet", "Nightmare of Solomon", "Lightning Count", and now "Fireworks of Shibuya."
This gentleman showcased the beauty of Armored Core - so many possibilities to create the craziest mech you can imagine
I hope FROMSOFTWARE gave that kid a free Collector’s Edition for that awesome stunt he pulled. Way to go, Fireworks from Shibuya! 🤘🎉
You left out the part about how he is only given 1 min to assemble his mech of this unreleased game
I thought about adding that but non AC players may have struggled to appreciate that detail, while everyone can enjoy the aerial fistfight of destiny 😅
Just imagine the face of the captain of the ship when the mech start punching the bridge.
- "It was at this moment that he knew..."
@raynalldoprime It was a true Gundam moment - the glowing eyes before the whole bridge gets nuked.
As soon as he detached his weapons, I knew he was *true* Raven.
That's automatic... if he did it intentionally he wouldn't have his missiles anymore
@@hf117j yeah just found out. Also you can manually detach it with OST chips.
So this is what a Raven is capable of once he comes out of retirement. Glorious.
It's soooo much better when people who can actually play demo the game. Excellent job
I am so happy to see this franchise get so much attention and mainstream recognition. From Software have come a long way.
It makes me extremely happy as well. I hope to see more AC in the coming months/years, it has always had a special place in my heart.
if anything, this man is literally the Red Comet of AC
Imagining the Titans Theme behind this man's actions is just... Damn.
Nothing comes close
@@plague6566 mine is him doing this with Loum no Akai Suisei OST of Mobile Suit Gundam: Origins playing, which makes it even more legendary
@@plague6566I can feel chills down to my spine just imagine this
*purges guns*
"why did you throw your guns?"
Fireworks of Shibuya: *FLYING IN THE SKY TAKAKU HABATAKE OOZORA O DOKOMADEMO*
FROMsoft: Melee weapons can only be equipped to the left arm
Fireworks: Hold my guns.
防衛戦という情報しか与えられず、アセンを1分で組むという無茶ぶりに問題なく対応したのは流石全作経験者だと思った
この人は無敵だぞ!めちゃすごい🦾
渋谷の花火師かっこいい🎆
Bold of them to assume audience would be anything but full of Ravens.
One could even call it.
A Nest.
I imagine the whole community saluting him.
O7 DAMN STRAIGHT WE ARE! ❤
They say on some nights, or in the morning...just as the moon sets, or sunrises over Rubicon's wartorn places... you'll see the sky light up great fields of battle once more, hearing the Fireworks of Shibuya ringing out...
HES GOT INFINITE GUNS AKA THESE HANDS
> drives a red mech
> wears a mask
> sinks a ship by kicking its bridge
#036 Fireworks, he is A CHAR.
Feels like a true cutscene it's amazing
he really went main character mode just to flex, what a hero
We couldnt name but the protagonist in past bethesda games for what they did.... but the player was always gonna do that
Here...
Here we look at what the players did to surpass the normalcy
Characters destined to be but barely something, fire for a burning light, vessel for a decayed land, dog hunting for their own survival...
Yet we gained the oppertunity to pass it and be recognized for it, forsaking all but broken tools, forsaking strange arts to empour and just being stubborn, defeating the hardest boss thousands of times flawlessly and while shes empowered by coop buffs...
Speeding up to mach 4 and still knowing what we are doing
Effortlessly maneuvering a tank like a goddamn supercar
Utilizing strategy to easily win a duel between veterans
And then, randomly showing up as if a phantom, downing the number 9 additvely and demonstrating near total mastery of movement in a game he didnt even play yet, to punch the enemy...
Legends are born of the destiny they deny, not the one they seek
i feel like only fromsoftware games get these kinds of community legends
Seems like a lot of AC6 players don't even know why this guy becomes a legend, and just boast "I can do better than this". Because he:
-literally played AC6 for the first time (it's in a pre-release event)
-only given one minute to pick his AC's parts
-knew nothing about the mission other than only "defending stuff"
And he assembled his AC on time, breeze through the mission in one go without repairing, and ended the mission in style. (The staff even expected him to fail the mission for further assembly tips)
Yeah, everyone can beat this mission on a cakewalk, but guess you can't do it with such handicap eh?
Some would say he was disarmed in the boss fight, but in his mind his fists where piledrivers.
Rewatching this after actually playing the game, now I truly understand how much of a GigaChad this man is.
"Why would you put arms and legs on a mech? Just put the same guns on a Tank. It's unrealistic!"
Because this is just better.
I don't understand a lot about AC since i'm new to this franchise, but the sheer of determination on this guy gave me goosebumps, literally fist fighting a boss.
Salute to you, Fireworks of Shibuya o7
"THIS HAND OF MINE IS BURNING RED"
TAKE MY LOVE, MY ANGER, AND MY SORROW
ITS LOUD ROAR TOLD ME TO GRAPS VICTORIES
SPIRIT PUUUUUNNNCH
2:42 im sorry, but WAS THAT A CHAINBOOST?
That was pretty. Must be a Gundam VS player
@@bobikoartdefinitely gen 4 gigachad
weird booster has Quickboost cooldown stats but still can do chain boost
Fireworks is legit an inspiration. I *want* to get good because of this. I *want* to master melee because of this. And I want to do it *my way* just like he did it his way.
I've never played Armored Core before, but now I want to earn the right to be in a match with Fireworks. You are a living legend of this franchise, and you made Shibuya proud.
*me singing in background

This man waited 10 years for this moment. He was not going to disappoint.
His name alone sounds like a figure they speak of in legends. 🎆🎇🎆
Absolute legend.
AC veterans, a moment please:
We can simply *punch* our way through this game.
If that doesn’t impress you, then you never cared about gameplay get out of my sight.
This guy must've loved using Boost Charge back then lol If you're out of ammo, throw your AC at your enemy.
I need to see this man immortalized ingame as a fallen raven in the epicenter of an Arms Fort graveyard.
And I'm not talking about just 7 or so AFs.... I'm talking about literal sea of them, requiring us to delve in for a few minutes to discover the Easter egg.
No way, I cant believe its only been 4 months, if felt like half a year.
Man deserve more than just a t-shirt...he deserve his own DLC quest line
Rise high, Raven. Like me, your journey to become the best is only beginning. But everyone knows, old or new, a Raven is still a Raven, and every Raven has the ability to fly high, and reach the top. It's time to fly, Fireworks of Shibuya.
Dude was like "i may be out of bullets but not out of options"
Dude went and showcased the perfect Heavyarms Gundam build for a new game before the release. Friggin chad bro.
I was here, witness the moment where a legend was born
This is why a hardcore fan should have been invited to the English event
I can never understand why Bandai never have a decent Gundam game like this.
They made one long back , I forget its name tho . It was ground breaking for it's time.
Lottery No.036=0+3+6=9 ”irregular”
So for context why this guy is such a legend, he was given a total of 60 seconds to build a mech in a game he had _never played before_. In the final moments of the fight, he actually ran out of ammo in his guns, which automatically purged them from his AC's system. With nothing else he could do, he was forced to punch down a wholeass PCA heavy warship before it obliterated the missiles he was defending.
海外からもこうして彼が称えられるのを見ると、とんでもない偉業だったんだと実感する。まさに伝説を作ったんだなと。
The Blood of Principal Zeon flows through him. I am really glad that we have FIST mechanics this IS what I was looking for. Fireworks of Shibuya its a badass mech name indeed. Can't wait to meet him on battlefield.
I just finished this mission today and with proper preparation you can breeze this level, I took alot of time prepping but this guy only had a minute of prep time yet he still managed to complete it and looked like a badass doing it, truly a Chad and I salute you sir o7
He's basically the AC version of Elden Ring's 'Let me Solo Her' player.
That's the fucking red comet if he was in Armored core
A barrage of missiles turned into nukes at his disposal, those who lived to tell the tale say his close quarters combat skills are equivalent to taking c4 to the face. Emitting a blazing aura, explosive yet dazzling on the battlefield, locals called him one name - "Hanabi".
A true Raven legend 🥲
🐮 7
You know someone is a Raven vets when the fight feels like a mecha movie scene and not just running randomly. him and his AC deserve to be boss/in trailer someday
Game isnt even out and we have a "Let me solo her" situation on our hands .
Fist fighting a space ship is so straight from gundam, when the mc already used all his weapon and then proceed using beam saber but still no effect and in desperation just start punching the enemy boss
