@@happygoluckytravel What would be your monthly budget on average?

    • @happygoluckytravel

Thank you for watching. As slow travelers we take advantage of monthly discounts and spend about $100 per night on accommodations. The rest of one's budget depends so much on individual factors. We can suggest our video on saving money on car travel in Europe if you are a non-EU citizen. Check out the French car leasing programs with pick up points across Europe.

@@happygoluckytravel thank you for your response. Do understand that traveling budget is very personal.
Having said that it seems like your lifestyle is as close to what we have done albeit 5 weeks tops.
That's why was asking about monthly budget for extended European traveling.
      Hope it helps.
Appreciate efforts you put into running the show.
      Very smooth and enjoyable 👌.
      Cheers!

Thanks for the amazing and beautiful views of the mountains and valleys ! We love all types of gondola rides. The coffin lift looks exceptional ! Precisely when did you tour the Dolomites ? The weather looks great !

Thank you for watching! Most of this was filmed in early August. The weather in the mountains is really hard to predict and changes from year to year. Have a great trip!

Great channel, thanks for the videos. Just curious what age bracket you guys are in for this hike? Would love to do this one day.

We hope you travel to the Dolomites one day! Val Gardena's peaks rise to about 8,000 feet, so for some people the altitude takes some adjustment and taking it easy the first couple days. In terms of fitness level our everyday life we walk about 10K steps a day. We stick to the easy trails in the mountains. We are old enough to have grandchildren, but not old enough for a senior discount. Thank you for watching!

I'm planning my first trip there in August with my daughter, who will hike hut to hut. I can't do that much so I wanted to plan something similar to what you did, where do you recommend staying? I will have a car and like to stay at high end places, maybe at the top. I also like to ride Ebikes on trails. Looking forward to your recommendations

How wonderful! You might consider staying on the Seiser Alm/Alp di Siusi, as there are several high end hotels, and car traffic is forbidden up the mountain from 9-5, so bike riders love the roads across the alpine meadow, surrounded by mountain vistas. See our Seiser Alm/ Alp di Siusi focused video for more scenery of this alpine wonderland. The village closest to the mountain bike trail/bike chair lift mentioned in the Easy Peaks video is Selva. Also, for bike-riding you could consider Achensee in Austria, not far from the Italian border. Path around the lake and also in the park at the end of the lake, many wide dirt roads to various peaks without car traffic. See our video on Achensee if you're interested. Have a fantastic trip!

That's South Tyrolean goulash with dumplings/knödel! Here it's prepared with a more delicate sauce with less paprika flavor than the Hungarian style. Thank you for watching!

    How many days was that?

Thank you for watching. We filmed this over a week. Technically you can ride all these lifts all in one day because they are in the same valley! But if you'd like to hang out at the top or add on an easy hike, a more relaxed pace will give you great memories. And except for the coffin lift, these peaks and meadows are so vast you can explore them over multiple days using different trails and visiting different huts with a completely different feeling each time.
