    Just started watching your hiking playlist. I think most will be on the bucket list...😮. Me and my mate was on about mountain biking the Dolomites one year. Id love to hike it also. 🏞️👍😁

      Respect😎🤙 We got a comfortable ass Van, so we get up early and rock long ass hikes and come . You'll love the hikes on this list. I was mildly skeptical about how buy it would be, but if you time it right it's more than fine and there is a reason it's so popular simply because of how jaw dropping the mountains are.

      @@planetlenz yeah I won't be that comfortable if I do it unless I rope one of my mates in to it who have vans. Yeah they all look awesome. I'm used to doing them in the UK but need to do more abroad. 👍

    Great work! Please keep it up.
    I’m planning to visit the Dolomites for the first time from the Dominican Republic and of all the videos I’ve seen so far (which are many) I’ve enjoyed yours the most.
    Great drone work (which I’m planning to do too) and great info on the hikes mentioned. Thanks!!!

    Thanks for the beautiful pictures from the Dolomites. When I was there (early September a few years ago) it was constantly overcast with fog and occasional rain, so any hike to higher elevations was not safe.
    As I walk alone, I prefer safer mountains with less chance of bad weather, like those in the Canary Islands. ;-)

      Completely agree. We were there in September, and only had maybe 2 rain days in 4 weeks. The Canary Islands is much better for less rain, can't wait to go back and visit some other Islands

      What do you think of the end of September to hike in the Dolomites?? From a crowd, cost and weather perspective?

      @planetlenz  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Ace-rt1qq I would highly recommend it. Temperatures are more comfortable, less people. Do the more popular hikes like Lago sotapis and Tre Cime on weekdays so there's no weekenders adding to the crowd. We filmed all of this inbetween early September to early October.
      We even got a couple cm of snow one evening that made the mountain peaks pop. In my Opinion September is perfect. We stayed in our Van and were never too cold and wore shorts most days, and not too busy for finding great free camping spots

    hi lovely video - I was a curious if you needed a special pass to shoot drone? I saw much of it was off limits on d-flight even with the operators certificate. Wondered how you got around that were you just sneaky?

      At times in the Dolomites there are so many drones in the Sky they risk colliding, just go by the DJI app.

    I am curious how long does it take to do a 10 km hike?

    • @planetlenz
      @planetlenz  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on the elevation gain and how many times I stop to film and take photos. But lets say theres only 500m of elevation gain over 10KM on a circular hike, and I didn't stop. It would take less than 3 hours.
