We compared our Raptor eight stack from AB Suppressor and the Dead Air Sandman S. Look at the weight, dB readings from 300Blk, .308 Winchester and 30-378 Weatherby, and finally the overall added length of the suppressors.
The RAPTOR uses spiral shaped baffles to keep the gasses moving while reducing back pressure. The result is our flagship suppressor. Utilizing the REFLEX mounting options greatly increases the suppressor volume without increasing the overall length of the firearm. The RAPTOR comes in 5.56, 7.62, .338 and lengths from 2 spirals to 10 spirals and reflex mounting options from 1.00” to 8.00”.

It'd be cool to see a 10 stack + 5" reflex on a 300blk/308/whatever 30 magnum to see the largest/quietest possible configuration.
I would like to thank I believe his name was Ethan for reaching out to me about your product. Still deciding on one can for my CZ P09 and my 300blackout pistol.
OK, so it looks like each additional pair of baffles past four lead to a 3 dB drop. Also, either a 2 inch or 3 inch reflex leads to about a 2 dB drop.
I have been considering the purchase of a very short system. It seems like. A two baffle stack with a reflex would perform about like a 4 baffle stack.
I’m gonna speculate that each inch of reflex is worth about one baffle.
Good to know!
I already have a cheap 9mm rifle suppressor. Next up, I’ll be getting a raptor 7.62, probably 2 or 4 baffle and most likely with 3” reflex.
I’d like to see mostly Ti cans head to head. The nomad Ti and CGS Hyperion would be nice comparisons
Hyperion K vs Raptor, coming up!
@@ABsuppressor awesome! 😊
Thanks for the info.
Seems like the 6.5 Creedmoor is really launching those brass with the AB suppressor in the 6 and 4 stack configurations.
The 8 would cause higher cyclic rates than the 6 or 4. Ejection patterns aren't all that simple, especially when the brass is bouncing off of a deflector and you can't see where it's landing like in these frames.
What about 5” reflex and 4/2stack?
With the thread pitch being industry standard for the mount, could you utilize the reflex with suppressors that also utilize that same thread pitch like dead air, yankee hill, and silencerco?
I like my raptor 6 but I need a 1/2x28 x 2" reflex device. Any idea when I'll be able to buy one?
Per the ATF we currently can only send out one Reflex Mount per suppressor. If you don't already have one of our 1/2x28-5/8x24 adapters or 1/2x28 flush mount you can order one through your local dealer or directly from us by emailing sales@absuppressor.com.
Thank you 😊
Does AB suppressors plan on making one in .45 cal?
What handguard is that? Looking for one that’ll fit my 9” SBR with 3” reflex. I have a raptor 8 w/3” reflex in jail right now.
Does AB Suppressors manufacturer suppressors for other companies? The CZ-ti suppressors look exactly the same as the Raptor.
Because we made them OEM
I’m trying to decide on a suppressor for an LMT with 3 barrels…308, 260 Rem, and 6.5 Cr. If I needed 2 reflex lengths, is the reflex considered a mount, or is it a suppressor part?
Unfortunately, the reflex is considered a suppressor part. We continue to work on the ATF to reconsider this. Like with most things progress is slow, but we're optimistic as the reflex is essentially a muzzle brake.
@@ABsuppressor hopefully you successfully convince the ATF on the nature of the reflex mounts, kinda like the modular cans that can be run short or long. Also hopefully you come out with a unit of reasonable OZs that can handle 450 Bushmaster on a 16 in AR and get full velocity ammo into hearing safe territory.
