    ATTN: TH-cam IS SHUTTING DOWN ALL GUN CHANNELS! I have moved over to Rumble. Others are leaving TH-cam in droves as well. All my NEW content is being posted on Rumble and all my old content is being sync'd by Rumble and stored on their servers for preservation. My channel is easy to find, just search for "NFA Review" in the search bar and you can find me and subscribe!
    TH-cam has given me 2 strikes so far on videos that weren't out during their new policy change. In addition they are deleting 5-6 videos of mine a week! They are doing the same to other Gun Channels and even the manufacturers that have channels. It's time we take our viewership over to Rumble! No more scrolling and watching non gun related content while we are logged in, no more fresh content, no more support. They don't want us here and Rumble has extended open arms to us and other free thinkers who aren't afraid to call BS on how far society has fallen!
    I've run this channel professionally for 12+ years, logged 60+ Million views, 10+ years of public shooting events, and hopefully provided insight and detailed information to our community helping everyone make informed decisions on hard to purchase items. I TRULY and whole-heartedly appreciate all of you. It's surreal that all my blood, sweat, and tears are about to be "digitally book burned" by TH-cam but Rumble has cast a lifeline to free speech and the rights of everyone to learn about firearms and suppressor ownership!
    To my awesome Patreon Members and my subscribers here, thank you! We are beginning a new chapter, ushering in a new fight and WILL NOT GO QUIETLY INTO THAT GOOD NIGHT.
    See ya on Rumble! - Adam

    My Savage has extractor issues too. If I run exposed lead or waxed lead bullets I have to clean the chamber as well as scrape carbon and lead buildup off of the extractor every couple hundred rounds or fails to pull the empty cases out. Seems like the only ammo it will run without any extraction issues is plated bullets

    I'm a machinist and while the baffles would clean out the threads, i would definitely worry about the baffles and threads wearing out. Even cutting softer materials, taps eventually wear out. The baffles are aluminum, taps are tool steel. I hold limited confidence that the threads on this can would last indefinitely, but then again, i could be wrong. You dont know until you try it i guess

    • @gsyoung54
      @gsyoung54 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have a lot of suppressors and of course even more guns. I usually only buy quality... that doesn't always mean expensive. A clean Ruger .22 shooting quality ammo will cycle. The quietest subsonic ammo I shoot that cycles most gun/suppressor combos is S&B subsonic .22LR. I have one very clean and polished Ruger SR-22 that will cycle CCI "Quiet" .22 if you only put 8 in the 10 round mag. I haven't met another .22 pistol that will do that.

    This is a dumb idea. Yeah wrench flats are great until you cant turn it because the tube spins, should have added wrench flats to the can also. Doesn't matter how good your tool is, that thing is gonna clog up and you'll go to take it apart and will not be able to bc the tune will spin and you sure don't want to stick the tube in a vice. Also wish you'd specify if those are at the ear numbers or not, I'm sure they are.

    • @nfareview
      @nfareview  4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I have leather pieces I've used for the better part of a decade in my bench vice to hold suppressor tubes while I work on them. Also, some common sense with 22 suppressors needs to apply. They should be cleaned after every 300-500rounds so gross buildup does not occur. You always have the option of letting the manufacturer service it. Hope that helps. - Adam

      I bought 40,000 rounds of standard velocity .22 when it was readily available after the Sandy Hook/Obama crisis died down and again after Trump was president. Guns, reloading components and all ammunition was cheap and plentiful during most of the Trump administration but so many of you bought nothing and are suffering now.
      Oh, I also bought 30,000 high velocity .22LRs and about 7,000 specifically subsonic .22LRs including some of the Gemtech he was shooting here. Pretty sure my early boxes of Gemtech .22 Suppressor ammo said manufactured by CCI on them.
      After Sandy Hook/Obama many if you noticed that finding 5.56 was difficult to impossible, at any price. The best deals I got when everything settled was from Walmart, of all places. For most of one summer they sold Federal Lake City M855 green tip, loose packed, in 1,000 round cases up here in Alaska for $349/1,000. I have 17 cases and also some of the same ammo later sold in ammo cans of 420 on stripper clips with one adapter, for about $240 a can. That price slowly went up as that production run dissapeared. Guy at Federal told me they made over a billion rounds marked as XM855 specifically for sale to the civilian market but they were not the typical X rounds which often meant seconds or flaws. Federal simply did not do the final tumble clean on that batch and it woukd not meet mil-spec for the laser reflectivity (shiny) test so could be sold to the civilian market.
      Next time shit is cheap buy a bunch instead of a Dodge super Hemi extended cab, 8' bed, nightmare angle of attack truck for 60,000-70,000+ dollars.

      No more time/effort than any other rimfire can at the same cleaning interval... it takes less than 10 min of work to clean. The pins on the tool are made from tool steel, and baffles are 7075, so braking the tool isn't really feasible.. but if it somehow did, they would warranty it. If you lose it or need/want a spare, they are available on their website for $30.
