mike, i just remembered a product you might find useful in the heavy lifting dept. its essentially a strap that goes around the far side bottom of the load and then to your upper arm. lots of leverage, y' dig? seemed to work good in the ads. might be worth a search
Gira is one of the top brands in bikes both MTB and road stuff including being modified for triathlon events but the one you have is a higher end aluminum MTB or off road/commuter bike combo that would be a mid level or on the lower side of higher end. They were created to compete with the old Giro brand in the 2000's. You sometimes see a few smaller teams using the new brand, in the Super Tours or the big tours like the Tour Down under or the USA tour of Colorado since they are one of the newer quality brands in the Bike scene.

LOL all that morning noise when it is still dark outside and Mike is scavenging. I love it. I enjoy watching what he finds every single time. It's 66F in Ohio today and cloudy. I found a way to re-purpose those blades to a ceiling fan. I unscrew them and measure and put them on a bird feeder box on the outside to give it some class. They sold pretty quickly. After I cut them, I took a paint brush and applied some sealer on the wood so it would repel water. So I would be a re-scavenger!
Mike often lets things stay for the next person if he thinks it can be reused . He also doesn't Cord cut like many scrappers, if he sees a vacuum that's mainly plastic he lets it stay complete because there are many people who fix and resell vacuum cleaners.
