The stores own _all this stuff_ and if the stores were to _donate all this,_ less people would purchase _this stuff._ Then the stores would have even more unsold _stuff_ and would have to donate even more, which would lead to even fewer people purchasing _this stuff._ Do you see how welfare is an unsustainable system?

I have found complete displays of Glade air fresheners, a box full of Foster Grant sunglasses, a complete display of Scotch Brite sponges and cases of candles in the dumpsters. It is insane the amount of perfectly good product that is being put into the landfill. I'm guessing they were doing a new planogram and just threw out the existing paper goods aisle here.

I don't know how it works but I buy things that would be thrown soon. I'm pretty sure they aren't dumpster diving rather I think they have some type of arrangement to purchase almost expired goods cheaply. Then they resell it at the outdoor market at a great price. Maybe something like this could be implemented. I could buy 4 for 1.00 small bags chips. 2 for 1.00 candy bars. Medicines, beef jerky. My last score was a case of canned anchovies for ten bucks. This would keep it out of the dumpsters at least.
Those Lipton green teas are delicious. They are also $7.50 a pack! You could have taken that cat litter and donated it, if you don't have a cat. Shelters are always in need.

I actually feel not wearing certain things helps your body to stay immune to things. The more your exposed to the more your body can create the antibodies to make you stronger.

Well if it Dollar General they consider it STEALING! DG especially is a very wasteful company they make billions of dollars and even though it sucks it's actually mandatory to damage stuff out and throw it away, when I worked there as a manager I marked stuff that was donatable to 50% off sometimes 90% off and sometimes I just said F&&K it and donated it anyway! So glad I don't work for that greedy ass company anymore!

Idk if you guys are close to any colleges but I’d highly suggest checking out the college dumpsters it’s move out season and I’m seeing TONS of brand new stuff being thrown out
in Ontario canada a lot of schools have special days to put out good stuffs, furniture and electronics etc... large freecycling day. also diverts a lot from the landfill.

Food is dangerous if it's been out of temperature for more than 4 hrs and there's no way to know what time it was thrown away 🤢 I think they mentioned in a video that he has a bad back or something 🤷♀️

He is unable to quickly determine what is what as far as brands, labels, damaged packaging, etc. When it comes to muscle he is as strong as a bull, and loads up things she would never be able to manage. I have followed them for years, and the roles of who does what have gradually rearranged themselves, but they keep up their efforts helping the less fortunate and supporting their family.

Check dates on sodas? They go bad. Also beverages in plastic exposed to heat can be bad.
Almost all dates on food items are suggested to use by dates they are not expiration dates
