Same here! I had a trip to the UK planned in the March when Covid hit and the highlight was to be a stop in the St James arear of London to get a Cheaney fitting. All b/c of that video. Someday.
I watched the other Cheaney ASMR video so many times that I actually bought cheaney shoes and let me tell you, Martin isn’t lying. These shoes are impeccable
I did the same on my first trip to London, making it a point to go to their St. James location and I bought an incredible pair of Chelsea boots. Sadly the TM Lewin was closed so I couldn’t get a navy suit for war.
Wow!! A lot of Cheaney shoes Enrico. I have about 15 pairs.....I find the quality far superior to my Church's and they are much more comfortable. Dave.

Brilliant, love those quality pieces! Imagine this guy being your mentor or even better your grandfather and you being 14 and you go to him in the weekends and learn and admire the trade done by him.
I admire his professionalism. I am close to his age and I never found a career for which I had this kind of passion and reverence - as a result, I am combating age discrimination on the job market with a long line of jobs that I have hated and don't care about. I would have loved to get something to love and become an expert on like Mr. Grey

If there was any doubt that Cheaney is 100% ready for the 21st Century, this resoundingly proves that it is. Bravo.
A character of man that reminds me of my father to a T in uncanny likeness. A world away in the US but of the same generation. Class, conservative but very much a man. Thought and strategy to everything they do. There's a lot of my father in me but I'm constantly reminded of how much better a job they did raising that generation of boys and the men they would become. Most males my age have fathers 2 decades younger than mine. I celebrate you sir Martin and other men of your caliber in my fathers memory.
I urge everyone who has not done so to buy a pair of made in England boots or shoes from one of the old established firms in Northampton (Cheaney to name but one ) the difference between these high quality hand made products and a typical high street brand is night and day and well worth the investment as they can last many many years decades even . Personally Cheaney is my favourite brand and their boots are absolutely superb check out the Hurricane 2 in Kudu leather sublime boots and very fair value for the quality and craftsmanship .
I love my Brixworth Balmoral boots. Managed to get a 2nd pair before they stopped making them. Herring shoes (Adrian Herring) do a lot of their own design shoes and get them made by Cheaney amongst others. I love Cheaney shoes and boots! Dave.
Would love to see a full video of Martin going through the whole process with the customer, from measurement all the way through to the till. Yes, I'm fishing for ASMR content but I am saving up for my very own pair.

Its funny, these shoes are great of course. But i bought a pair of boots online 7 yrs ago. They're still fine. If you look after your shoes, they just last. They dont have to cost a fortune. My favorite Blundstone workboots cost $150 from a thrift store!
Have seen Martin getting the Market Harborough to London train...no doubt heading to the London store...Harborough is closest to Desborough home to Cheaney.
Heck, I use a shoehorn for all my shoes. Even light hikers and my safety shop shoes. I've got a nice steel horn that's 18" long. Don't even have to bend over.
