@@happy-uh1yk actually there are more than enough percentage women with good qualifications who don’t wanna work after marriage and that was just a conversation, not a contract btw them. Before you say there aren’t any those women, i have plenty of female friends who are like i just wanna stay at home or i don’t wanna work for after my 30s and they are from very liberal and educated families.
@@Rainbowpandemonium It’s not about good education. Chartered Accountant is a very specific training. Anyone who does that isn’t planning to sit idle at home. Like being a doctor or being a pilot. You wouldn’t find many people(men or women) from these professions who willingly chose not to work.

I completely get what the single mom is going through. I am a single fulltime Dad of 2 little girls. Mostly when one puts that information out that is pretty much the end of the conversation..😱.

IDKW but when people say 'If a girl likes a boy's heart/nature' for an Indian woman, born & raised in India/anywhere, it cracks me up a little every time.
It goes both ways. Nobody cares about the heart/nature of their arrange marriage prospects. They are all looking for superficial qualities.
Actually what I felt 8:00 was that the dad was right actually.. He married a foreigner first which shows that he was more interested in someone from other culture. So it becomes quite a perplexing question as to how the guy will adjust with a girl of Indian descent.
I think the dad was thinking the same thing that I was. That if his type is foreigner, then he might not be able to adjust with a native girl.
I think that’s a huge assumption. The story might be that he did marry a foreigner but then realized it isn’t working out because they are too different and different cultures. And now he wants to go for someone within his own culture after seeing the mistake. 🤷🏻♀️ I’m just saying they got divorced for a reason, we don’t know why. But it could be this so we shouldn’t make any assumptions

no one gives him the right, in arrange marriages these talks are necessary to know what a guy should expect from his to-be wife and vice versa. They will most probably break this rishta, still better than a girl or guy stuck in a horrible marriage.
obviously, I'm not justifying Akash or his family's decisions or requirements, but if they put all their needs and expectations out there and you still agree to marry the person. You are as much at fault as them. Arrange marriages are contract marriages you put what you need it could be quite literally anything from looks, wealthy family, liberal family, etc.. to anything and when both the parties involved in this process finally settle for what is negotiated they get married. As simple as that

Arranged marriage is NOT a quick process. A person goes through a LOT of possibilities before finally settle on something. Once a couple like each other and their families are comfortable with each other, their horoscope has to match for the match to proceed.
If everything else goes well but if their horoscope do not match, 99.9% of the time the marriage would not happen. (unless its a love marriage)

Ridiculous mindset of Akshay lol dude is so in the late 90s. My friend who got married told me from his experience that his wife became much more relaxed and less irritated after getting employed. Earlier she used to fight all the time get irritated and what not for small things. Once she joined a job she became much more calm and relaxed.
Staying in the house 24/7 makes a person mad (essentially quarantine)
Also dude has no foresight both working parents are needed in today's economy and divorce alimony gets much more easier with independent working women.
