I dont know much about mixed media, but u really opened my eyes to the endless possibilities and the creative way u have used common household objects. Fabulous. Just loved this tutorial and your beautiful voice explaining how and why you do things.

What a great surprise I have so many vintage, 40’s to today. I too have two girls who give me and buy all sorts of “ thingies” for their crafty mother. I have two old boxes that will be converted! Blessings for the New Year!

Ina, this is stunning. It's a great idea and I'm thinking I should make one using my mom's old costume jewelry and a picture of her. It will be a little memorial to her now that she has passed. TFS!

Gail Tuthill what a great Idea! To add a photo. I have a lot of little "trinkets" of my brother's, who passed away in December, and I've been trying to figure out how to use them! I love the idea of doing something like this and adding a picture of him.

This is amazing! I love that you have taught your viewers to create beautiful art from things we already have and could easily think to discard - even the picture frame! It's difficult to find the designer pieces and they can be expensive but you show how one can use every day objects and some imagination and create beauty! Thank you!

oh my goodness amazing thank you for ideas about glues to use to glue down jewelry and also you gave me a great inspiration to use those wooden home Decour signs upside down instead of buying a fancy shadowbox frame thank you I’m going to make Broken jewelry bouquet on a piece of velvet for my mom out of custom jewelry!

in a, thank you so much, another beautiful piece! I cannot resist buying bits and pieces of jewellery at thrift stores and yard sales so I have quite a collection. It gets a bit overwhelming at times-now I know a lovely way of using some of it up!

Wow, what a lot of yummy texture. Everything came together so beautifully. And I don`t mind you using copper again and again, it`s just the perfect colour for that vintage look and I really like it too.

I found a docu. on Joseph Cornell, he was one of the earliest,recognized assemblage artist and his stuff is very cool and I want to try some boxes,with extra mixed media thrown in. Sometimes I get an itch to try something new. : )
