I've (kindof) done this, but without the idea of art involved. (Then again, I usually make art from whatever I own, but it wasn't specifically meant to be about art.)
It was mainly just a bag of crap that me and an acquaintance decided to trade.
We sat down, opened the bag and held stuff up in the air. The other then scrambled around in their bag, saying; 'Trade against...this?' and would hold up something else.
In the end, we might as well have just traded the bags instantly, without knowing what was in it. But sure, this was a bit safer, to avoid a conflict later on.
I went home with a cool storage-box with roses on it, for my mom's garden. A bowl with toucan's on it (that I later traded for old jewelry with someone) and several packs of paper, that I traded with someone else for a bunch of fabrics.
Now the acquaintance has cleaned out her house (before I could clean out mine, haha) I mainly trade my old stuff for a bar of chocolate. Just announce it online (like; 'I have 5 empty jam-jars with cute lids!) and you put them outside, next to your door. And when you arrive back home that evening, they're gone and there's a chocolate-bar in your mailbox.

I find this absolutely breathtaking. It gives me early 1900's traveling sideshow vibes and I love it.

I love the colours you paint with, it makes everything have a magical whimsy feel to it, its as though it all belongs to a fairy in the woods, when I paint it looks like a dog threw it up lol, absolutely love your videos =)

The little castors on the door are a lovely touch; and any crafting video is enhanced by the inclusion of a cat. I was really surprised at how well that plastic frame weathered in to something cool. There are too many really great details to comment on :)
