      I think so too! It always takes a bit to find enough interesting bits for one of these unpainted assemblages, but I love to do them. Thanks so much Andrea. : )

    You are brilliant Ina!!! First of all...you woke up watching my Sunday morning video...I went to sleep last night watching this video!🤣😂😅 I love how resourceful you are...making an assemblage piece out of these picture boxes and all that wonderful "STUFF" you've collected...AMAZING! I love how you aged it all too. Ina this is one of my favorite assemblage pieces of yours...you have outdone yourself!👏👏👏 BTW...that chicken skull...😱😱😱🧡🧡🧡

    • @InaSolsberyartroom
      @InaSolsberyartroom  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow, thank you Denise. I am so glad you like this. I appreciate your encouragement.
      I have a lot of stuff, but only some is suitable for these type of unpainted assemblages, most is junk. LOL I am always on the look out for unique, cool looking things, so I can do these type of assemblages more. Well, I like the painted once too, it"s just a different concept all together. One of my dear viewers send me a few real animal skulls, including the chicken. Those are very cool pieces to use in assemblages. Talk to you soon Denise. : )

    Oh, Ina, I always love your creations. Configuration box sounds like a category of box. You need to find something pizzazz-y to call this thing. It certainly is a busy box for grownups. Exploratory Box of This & That. Ina’s Miniature Play World. Ina, have you ever made an aquarium of fantastical fishes and other nethersea creatures? Oh, I’d love to see that!

    • @InaSolsberyartroom
      @InaSolsberyartroom  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mara and thanks for your suggestions.. all are cool. yes, configuration box is a bit of a mouthful. HA I appreciate your great feedback and I am pleased that you enjoy my stuff. I did do a maritime assemblage frame awhile back, I also did another one with 2 fishes, but yes an underwater world might be fun. thanks for sharing your ideas. : )

    • @InaSolsberyartroom
      @InaSolsberyartroom  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      LOL....Cornell loved glass items and skulls, so he might like it, but maybe a bit too busy for him.. Your chicken gift really advanced this piece and I am glad I had it and you like the way I used it. Thanks so very much Aggie. : )

    Hi Ina, I absolutely fine this type of project so interesting and fun.
    I met someone at the Jazz Fest here in New Orleans, that does this same type of assemblage. I’ve bought three pieces of her work. If I may leave her name with you, I think you will love to see what she does. She’s very inspiring.....Or perhaps you have inspired her. 😊 She is Gena Ollendieck, and can be found on Facebook.
    Thank you for sharing your work. 🤗

    I love your style Ina. The more rusty and unique the more I like it. I like that you knew so many of the items, the clip holding the number 5 is an old tie clip that mostly worn by men to hold their tie next to their shirt, back in the day. Just thought you would like to know. TFS

    • @InaSolsberyartroom
      @InaSolsberyartroom  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Doreen for the tie clip info ,I wasn't sure what that clip was originally for. I try to find proper names for my junk which is sometimes challenging. LOL I am so glad that you enjoy my art and yes ,unique is definitely my goal and rustic is just so me, I am not the frilly type. Ha

    thanks for sharing the porcess of creating interesting edges. do you envision what your project will look like and work towards that , or just get out all the objects and materials you want to work w/ that day and let them 'guide where you will go? btw i embarass my family by picking up all the bits on the ground as we walk! LOL

    • @InaSolsberyartroom
      @InaSolsberyartroom  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends...I think for most of my projects I start with either the substrate
      or main shape., that leads me into the rest.
      Sometimes just 1 piece gives me the idea for the whole thing, like the ball with the snail etc. For this one I planned from the beginning to display findings, as I had some cool bits that I did not wanted to paint over. I also pulled out things that would create a mechanical look, before I got started. But how all the pieces end up kinda evolves. as I work on it. Keep picking up those findings. My hubby brings stuff home that he finds when he walks the dog. LOL Thanks for watching Nita. : )
