There’s one big reason why I really love this piece. A little 2 years ago I received a trap set for my birthday and I didn’t have a 4th high Tom but I set my trap set up in the coordination of a quad set with the snare in substitute for the Tom and I learned to play this entire piece on the quads but even being a bass drum player I still have the quick wrists to go back-and-forth and I was able to play this throughout Pepband at half times for school and people would love it so thank you so much for showing this piece to where I could learn this myself.
At first, I was like wait a minute I know this piece and remembered that at my high school the drumline always plays this, and it just shocks the whole room
This is fun and easy for my band since we're all beginners except the guy on snare (btw we are literally just snare, me on quad for pep, then 3 bass drums)
there was honestly missed potential with the snare parts. even if it just replayed the tenor's part (2nd repeat) with accents dotted around accordingly, it would've at least helped it be more than just a backup rythnm.
Honestly for easiest part, I must go with snare. Cymbals are easy, sure, but honestly, you can't even mention cymbals because of fuckin course they're gonna be easy
the echo makes an impressive piece even more memorable
This is so true bruh

This is not the original version, plus we don’t have access to their sheet music
The title literally says arrangement
When teners get the tap-off instead of the snare.
I hate Jig 2 so much I love it
Tap off should be on drum 1 not 2
