      Hi there. Off topic. Anyone have any legit contacts with Card Hobby from China. This Chinese company is honestly holding 20k USD worrth of my purchases hostage. DM's and emails to prove. If anyone has any contacts with this company it'd be greatly appreciated. They were at the Dallas card show this past weekend and will be at the National.

    Ichiro was one of my favorite baseball players as a kid. Loved watching him in his prime. It's exciting times what Ohtani has been doing past few years, and what it means for the sport. Really cool that's leading to a new generation of collectors in Japan. Great video. Thanks for the tour, Geoff

    Hey Geoff! Your video gave me goosebumps. You may have noticed the gentleman said Version 1 BBM is the most prized set in Japan. There’s a group of us that have been collecting Shohei’s 2013 BBM 183 Version 1 and their parallels for a while now. All of the BBM are low print run (consensus 10,000 base), only about 12 different sets, but BBM is the premier manufacturer in Japan. They do all of the signings for the players. The 183 Version 1 Gem 10 was selling for $500 six months ago. $2900 sale yesterday. Most people are asleep at the wheel still on these though. Given the limited supply versus 2018, these are indeed rare treasures. To get a parallel 183 Gold, Holo, or Red. So rare!

      Pandora's box is opened.
      No longer will we collect rare 2013 Ohtani Japanese True Rookie cards at such criminally low prices.
      Everyone, enjoy ride while you can.

    Nice to see a Japan card shop. It should be mentioned Japan has strict privacy laws and that you should not freely film like that. Don't film people without their consent and children should be blurred out (not yours of course) just film the cards and shop if consent s given.

    06:00 - speedrunning, not really showing anything (magic the gathering, pokemon, one piece etc) but then starts showing sports cards again.
    I guess its a great video if you only care about sports cards and maybe a few pokemon cards. anything else isnt rly getting screen time.
    fair enough. but i wish it was more obv in the title.
    love your passion for the sports cards tho

    Ohtani is great but let’s not act like he’s the first great Japanese player. Ichiro, Dice K and Koji Uehara for the Red Sox and now Yoshida Masataka also with the Red Sox. The game of baseball has seen a lot of great players from Japan over the last 30 years. They deserve to be mentioned here along with Ohtani

    • @billsmafia_
      @billsmafia_ ปีที่แล้ว

      Ohtani is in a different stratosphere than each of those players you mentioned. He needs to play on the East coast because as popular as he is, I think he is still underrated because he is with the Angels.

    • @WarriorKidd06
      @WarriorKidd06 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@billsmafia_ I don’t believe he needs to move to an East coast team at all just be on a better one. He could go to a lot of places and things could be the same or worse for him.
