- Today I tried to reach the end of the Festival in Super Mario Odyssey but if I say the name of any Mario Character, NPC, or Capture in the game I have to start over the speedrun. This challenge was inspired by @DougDoug and I had a lot of fun trying it out! Enjoy the video!

Usually the best part of these kind of videos is watching the chat and the streamer change and evolve their strategies, but the best part of this video was watching Fir slowly descend into madness from the terrible voice recognition software.

I know it's so frustrating when it calls out a word that wasn't even said or sounds close to the word at all 😭
DougDoug's probably done the voice recognition training for it a lot more so it's a lot more accurate. If you actually use voiceattack for stuff like elite dangerous, you do have to train it quite a bit for it to clearly recognize when you’re saying commands.

I love this video. Every other time fir has done a challenge, he's always won by the end of the video, due to the fact that he only ever loses a bit of progress. But this time he has to start from square one after ever fuck up. He wasn't even trying to get to the end of the game this time, just to the end of metro kingdom, but he never does. Fir lost for once.
my favorite part of this is not the jebaits with common words like "tree" it's when the software goes "YOU SAID HARRIET" or "YOU SAID BONNETON" when no Harriet or Bonneton was in sight xD
my second favorite part of this is the editing in post!! the little captures popping up to indicate what Fir couldn't say really helped me put everything together

the funniest part about this is the way the program works is by listing out every word you say and then looking for the specific words within those ones you said. which means every time he said stream or streamer it thought he said streem or streemer and whenever he said literally it thought he said letterally.
