- This is a fan made video by svenblue2000 & BrainChildOfGod. This was to be the original lion Voltron, but as fate would have it World Events was shipped simply the "robot with the lion" show GOLION instead of DALTANIOUS (the show W.E.P. ordered from Toei Animation) by mistake and the rest they say is history.
Voltron is property of World Events Productions. Dalatnious is property of Toei Animation.

Well done. I wonder if Voltron III would have been the top Voltron today if Daltanius was shipped as it was intended instead of GoLion? It would be cool if an alternate timeline episode is made where the team finds that GoLion Voltron didn't exist on Arus but Daltanius Voltron did. Seeing the two teams and all their differences.

Word of advice to WEP, know the name of the show you want to license.
I wish they made this a quadrilogy. But I know it would not have happened the Lion force was way more successful over the vehicle team series
Thanks to a mistake by WEP, GoLion became the Lion Voltron that we all know and love and Daltanious was left in shambles, LOL.

This woulda been the sequel to Lion Voltron where the Voltron was an upgrade from Golion and the main hero is the son of Allura and Keith.

Even if it made it to the US, it would retain it's Japanese name, original character names & have a faithful English dub.

eshaw2115, probably not, I am 46 years old and I have studied Japanese Anime for over 20 years, in my opinion, which to say, I am not the gospel on Super Robot Anime. Golion did not do well in 1982 in the ratings in Japan and in my understanding talking to Anime and Manga writers they culturally could not relate, but in America we could. The Planet Arus appears to look like 1837 England, Victorian style castle, blond hair blue eyed princess etc. Americans fell in love with that anime more than they did Jim Terry's Force Five in 1980 even though it hade to be heavily edited because it was for young adults a majority of White Americans could relate to the culturally back drop of the anime.

I sometimes like to imagine there being a version of Voltron where they still used Golion, and Dairugger but they also used Albegas, and this show with the idea this was the first season, and all the other shows were the other seasons that were set years after the events of the first one.

I find this very stupid and lame Daltanius has nothing to do with Voltron.
WEP originally licensed Daltanious, Dairugger XV , and Albegas to be re written for American Television as " The Voltron Trilogy". Toei animation sent them Golion instead of Daltanious by mistake. It was the happy accident which changed history. So this is a fan concept of what may have been. Not stupid at all
