DALTANIOUS VOLTRON INTRO
มุมมอง 14K12 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a fan made video by svenblue2000 & BrainChildOfGod. This was to be the original lion Voltron, but as fate would have it World Events was shipped simply the "robot with the lion" show GOLION instead of DALTANIOUS (the show W.E.P. ordered from Toei Animation) by mistake and the rest they say is history. Voltron is property of World Events Productions. Dalatnious is property of Toei Animat...
I can almost hear the “Form feet and legs! Form arms and torso! And I’ll form the head!”
I always wanted this series to have the three Voltron’s . I liked more of vehicle force Voltron
One of the best music scores ever in a cartoon still gives me chills 😊
Peter Cullen's Optimus Prime's Voice Has Done It Again!
It would’ve been nice to see Gladiator Voltron be released for the 40th anniversary, despite the fact that the Lion force series was a huge success and the Vehicle team series was a huge failure, so a second season was rush into production.
I would have loved to see for Voltrons 4
Why is Optimus Prime narrating?
Well... that's all you really need to make a successful Robot cartoon... a cool base, launch and formation sequence that you can reuse every episode. Everything else is forgivable.
So we have feet & legs…and arms & torso…but forming the head?
Alpha, Beta, and Gamma
Albegas?
F**k Power Ranger's 😆 V2 Has got them Whooped By A long Shot😊
What’s the name of the instrumental song playing?
I am very unfamiliar with this Voltron. I only knew if the Vehicle and Lions ones.
I remember having the three vehicles (opening of this video) as a kid. It wasn’t until I saw this video that I discovered their source.
Hold on, those spaceships, they're so familiar... I'm pretty sure I owned that toy as a kid.
Yeah, I'm definitely not crazy. I did some digging around on the internet and in the 80s those vehicles were Esso exclusive in my country. The 3 ships could combine together into 1 bigger ship.
If this were to become a 2000's English Adapted anime series AND the third adaption for Voltron, here is what I want to have as English voice actors and actress for the pilots 1. Owen Wilson as Xander (The pilot of the Black Robot) 2. John Kassir as Michael (The pilot of the Blue Robot) 3. Grey DeLisle as Harriet (The pilot of the Red Robot) What do you say?
This is Awesome!
Form feet and legs! Form arms and torso! And I'll form... The head!
Here was knew like ARBEGAS... Because thier 3 robots called "Alfa, Beta, Gamma".
I remember having the red robot of this Voltron.
I don’t remember this Voltron.
Wow this is new for me.
That's a good recreation of what could have been.
As a young lad the only time I saw Voltron 2 toys was at Target in the hey day early 1980's when the US traded with Japan when the toy isle had every mecha from Japan well what was most popular at that time
There was a third Volltron?!
Yep! Voltron Albegas.
Ah what could have been..
I sometimes like to imagine there being a version of Voltron where they still used Golion, and Dairugger but they also used Albegas, and this show with the idea this was the first season, and all the other shows were the other seasons that were set years after the events of the first one.
Musketeer Voltron, bring it on!
I never heard of this Voltron until last night
First time Ive ever seen the animation to this version of Voltron . I remember seeing the Toy in Toys R us when i was kid and wondering when is the cartoon gonna be on TV . Now im seeing it for the first time 40 years later
Me too. Back in the 80’s I always saw the Voltron that had the 5 lions come together and the one that had like 12 vehicles that all come together, but I never saw this one. I was actually looking it up on TH-cam to see if anyone ever put up a video of it and found this one.
My friend of 40 years still has all 3 original voltron 20 inch robots probably worth a pretty penny today but he won't sell in fact I saw him playing voltron with his son 😊
SUPER LAME! IM GLAD IT NEVER MADE IT HERE TO THE US.
The triple bruh fist in here? Oh waw.
Thank you for this! I had them as a toy when I was 10 but never knew what they were from
Remember the anticipation we felt waiting for "Voltron" to form?
Combattler, Voltes V and God Sigma would also make a great Voltron series.
I would've liked to add God Mars into that too despite that one was done by TMS. It felt like something that would've worked as a Voltrons series.
@@mdo7 Yep.
I was thinking Voltes, Daltanious, and Daimos
There are 4 Voltron's
ALBEGAs!
Voltrons ate lions the vehicles force get a slight pass
I will never call this bullshit Voltron
Lion Voltron, Vehicle Voltron, and this one: Gladiator Voltron. Because Man Voltron would sound goofy.
VOLTRON DA MAN
in jpn version, the robot is called albegas
so un the US every combiner was called voltron ? in latin america these go by its original name albegas, but we prenunced more like arbegas
Not all combiners. This one in particular was originally supposed to be edited and dubbed into the third Voltron series in the US after GoLion became the first series (Lion Voltron) and Dairugger became the second (Vehicle Voltron), but because Vehicle Voltron proved far less popular than the Lions, World Events Productions, the American company that was making the Voltron versions, decided to instead commission a sequel series for the Lions from Toei instead of adapting Albegas. Despite that, the toys for Albegas had already been imported as part of the Voltron toyline, so Americans call this the lost Voltron.
Awesome!! See, I think Daltanias looks way more like a "Voltron" than Albegas
Yep.
What that alarm sounx
Why was he never a part of Voltron would of ben cool to see him along side Lion Voltron
I reckon there should be a live film of volition defender of universe and I would play Keith pilot of black lion
You know it's important if Optimus Prime is narrating it.
Good news, everyone! Daltanious is finally coming out on Bluray from Discotek media. Preorders are up on Rights Stuf Anime right now! Lock your preorder in!
Not bad....not bad
Not bad!
