I try new idle air control valve still didn't do anything different. Truck still shaking. Am thinking it might be head gasket cause I had the truck running for 4 hours . Cause i was in hurry and forgot to turn off tge truck. I came back the radiator was melting but the truck was still running during this time. I replaced radiator and sits for 6 months and now i got to run for one week. After that it shaking now.
I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP just cleaned throttle body now it has high idling and it accelerates by itself now without me having to give it gas.
Hie I’m having the same problem on my Chev Cruze f16d3, cleaned throttle body now the car revs itself nonstop, I’m stressed. Did you find any solution yet?
@@mattleibrock oh, I'm an "idiot", am I? He only had issues AFTER cleaning the throttle body. @@mattleibrock Step up. He said it happened immediately after doing work on it. If that doesn't ring alarm bells for you, I feel sorry for everyone around you.
I also had a problem with the idle speed air valve. The car (hyundai getz) shook when standing. Irregular acceleration, smell of fuel and soot coming out of the exhaust. Fault codes p0130, p0134, p0171 alternately appeared. At first the garage thought it was an oxygen sensor and replaced it. The problem continued and the fualt codes returned until the idle speed air valve was replaced. Funny because I searched and searched on the internet for the fault codes that appeared and nowhere did it say that the problem could be with this valve.
Thank you for your time brother
Excellent explanation, thank you.
i have e36 320i engine cutting out when slow down top stop
It started after I changed the oil
Thanks for making this video. I will try this method on my 1994 d21 Nissan truck
Let us know how it goes👍
Do you have a video where you replace it?
Outstanding video.

You've obviously done something wrong. Check to see if the throttle cable or and linkages have been compromised or pulled too tight.

Thank you. Is this a BMW with volvo steering wheel? or two different cars....
Two different cars😁
Thanks m8
I put a new idle control on my car and all oxygen sensors and I still going to rough idle and losing speed as well
Could be coils, or plugs or fuel pump, or vacuum leaks,
I have a code p1636
Hi. Which car? This is a manufacturer specific code, and means differently depending on the brand.
