Amazing video!
Thank you!
Got this laptop about 2 months ago, but it came with 32GB of ram instead of 8 or 16 for $1,250 brand new in store and I’m gonna be honest, that helps so much. Buy a cooling pad, extra keyboard and mouse and mousepad and an external monitor and set it all up on your desk and you have a full setup. I stream and game on all AAA titles (some at max settings, but others not because why would u need to play at max settings?) with no issues. MW3 I was peaking at 210fps at the highest settings, same for Apex, gta was around 180 range at max, Resident Evil 3 at very high (almost max) I got 110-160 fps. Keep in mind, I stream live and record in the background at the same time while playing. Seems like a pretty good gaming laptop. The only bad thing is, the screen is HORRIBLE for specs this good. Imagine a 165hz display on this bad boy, it would be damn near perfect.
That's right with a different display this could be a great laptop
@@JULVEXGAMINGwhich monitor u recommend to this laptop?
@@elianmaya1710 Depends on what you're using it - mine is connected to a MSI MPG 321UR- QD check it here 👉👉 th-cam.com/video/CiBA4UKUNvI/w-d-xo.html
Do you recommend buying this pc for 700€ now??
Yes at that price no doubt at all
Excelent video quality!!!!! thanks
@@djbrokoly3909 Thanks!
I purchased this laptop and could not find an MSI app that would allow me to control the keyboard lighting colors. How can I install the MSI application to control the laptop, even though I tried a lot?
MSI center could help but I would NOT recommend using that app, instead try out if Signal RGB is compatible and can help
@@JULVEXGAMING I tried msi but it doesn't recognize the device
Hello there, I am starting to like this laptop MSI Katana 15 B13V which is slightly more specs than this, but still have a doubt because, till now I am using Asus brand and I do like the new Asus tuf series either F 15 or F 17 with common spec of i7 12th gen rtx 4060. Both comes in similar price but I am looking for a long lasting laptop, for gaming, 4 k or higher streaming and college / daily purposes with inbuilt web cam. So which will you recommend and or do you have any other models or types that you have in mind. Thank you!
if they have similar prices I would suggest the Katana, it is great for what you're going to use it
Did you recommend Msi katana 15 for my first computer(laptop). I only use my tablet before!, now I wanna test gaming on laptop! 😊
Sure!
I am planning on buying this laptop for microsoft flight simulator 2020, do you think this is good enough to run the game at 30-40 fps stable and consistently in medium or high settings?
That depends on what resolution you're going to play but you should be able to reach those FPS in 1440p without any problem
i see super bad microstuttering e.g. in cyberpunk. This is unplayable, right? Any possible explanation?
Unfortunately that was because of the software used for monitoring the performance that was causing that, otherwise no stuttering at all and great performance with the same settings
i want to use this laptop fo 3d modeling
is it good for that ? won't I regret buying it?
now I am using MSI GV62 8RD I7 8th gen, 24gb ram and GPU is 1050TI 4GB, I want to upgrade it for better one.
This Laptop can be good compared to the one you have, but as you might guess this depends on what 3d modeling you're into
No way to bypass voltage lock? Been looking at this for Prime day now but without the option to undervolt it leaves a sour taste.
Unfortunately there is no way to bypass it
Nice review I'm looking at this laptop and the gigabyte aorus 5 se4
They both are great laptops, if are priced almost the same I would go with the MSI you're gonna have the RTX 4070 instead of the RTX 30 series on the Gigabyte
Ciao, dopo 5 mesi consigli questo laptop? Sta a 1500 adesso su MediaWorld
Yes!
My budget is around 1 - 1.2L ! In that range Msi katana 15 Rtx4070 looks good for me! But is there any other better gaming lap in that price range?
That's ok, you might look for some discount on some ASUS ROG laptops with the RTX4070 that's a good alternative
@@JULVEXGAMING Rog went abive 1.4L .This lap which is in my budget (1.2L), ASUS TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition (2023) 90WHr, Ryzen 9 7940HS AI Powered, 16" FHD+ 165Hz, 8GB Radeon RX 7600S, Gaming Laptop (16GB/1TB SSD/Win 11/Office 2021/Sandstorm/2.20 Kg) ! Is this better option than msi katana?
@@jaidonyt3981 they are almost identical (maybe the GPU on the Katana is slightly better), it's up to your preferences
@@JULVEXGAMING kk tq bro ❤️
I have a question concerning this pc. What’s about his duration, can it last easily 5 years or not at all??
In normal use, in my opinion could last 5 years
@@JULVEXGAMING Thanks you for your answer. I have another question, what should I buy between :
->MSI Katana 15 B12VFK-245XFR
15.6" Full HD (1920 x 1080), 144 Hz, Dalle IPS - RTX 4060 (105W) - i5 -12450H - 1 To SSD M.2 Gen 4.0 - RAM 16 Go (1029€)
or
->OMEN HP 16-xd0025nf -16,1" FHD - Ryzen 7-7840HS - RAM 16Go - 512Go SSD -NVIDIA RTX 4060 8Go (1099€)
I don't really know which one can be better and durable over time
@@mortazz4771 I can't tell if the HP has the limitation of 105w on the GPU but with the Katana, you have more space, and the difference in the price isn't that much
Both are equal to me, depending on your preferences here (but allow me to suggest - if you have the budget - to look for a laptop with the RTX4070; it isn't going to cost much more than the RTX4060 and you might have longer longevity)
Oh I see it, thank you so much@@JULVEXGAMING
Please I need your opinion, which one you would buy: and tell me why?
1- MSI Katana 15 15.6" 144Hz FHD Gaming Laptop: 13th Gen Intel Core i7, RTX 4070, 16GB DDR5, 1TB NVMe SSD, USB-Type C, Cooler Boost 5, Win11 Home: Black B13VGK-484US ( 1,333 USD)
2- ASUS ROG Strix G16 (2023) Gaming Laptop, 16” 16:10 FHD 165Hz, GeForce RTX 4060, Intel Core i7-13650HX, 16GB DDR5, 512GB PCIe SSD, Wi-Fi 6E, Windows 11, G614JV-AS73, Eclipse Gray (1230 USD)
I would suggest the MSI, for 100$ difference you have a better GPU and double of space
@@JULVEXGAMING How about the display quality of the MSI Kitana, isn't worst than Asus Rog? or same?
@@ayoub6165 the display are more or less the same quality (probably Asus slightly better), but considering the difference in hardware the MSI is better IF you connect and external monitor/TV
That's up to you and how you want to use it
@@JULVEXGAMING but MSI has RTX 4070 (only 105W), Asus has RTX 4060 (140W)!
@@ayoub6165 NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE BCZ 4060 WILL PROBABLY NEVER HIT 140 MAX T MAX UT WILL GO 110W
well idc this laptop is going to be best thing i ever have so it prob gonna be more than i want
Sei italiano?
Bro, please help me
Msi katana 15 B13vfk
rtx4060 105W
I7 13620h
Or
Asus TUF a15
Ryzen 7 7735hs
Rtx4060 140W
ASUS TUF should be (depending on your case use) better than MSI, IF they’re priced the same
@@JULVEXGAMING Thank bro for replying.I only care about gaming and performance.I have a monitor at home, so the display is not important .Is Msi better? Because Better cpu and rtx 4060 can not be used beyond 115W ?
@@JULVEXGAMING bro,can you answer me, please. I just ordered msi. Should I cancel? I thought msi katana 15 have better performance
@@nazichan4749 the difference is minimal and shouldn't be an issue - if you are gaming in 1080p or 1440p you're with both of them depending on your budget
If you ordered already the MSI i don't see an issue there
@@nazichan4749 How is the msi katana 15 bro? Is it good? My budget is around 1-1.2L ! In that range Msi katana 15 Rtx4070 looked good for me! But is there any other better gaming lap in that range?
Hi man i have two options, one is MSI Katana 15 B12VGK**
CPU: Intel i7-12650H
GPU: RTX 4070
RAM: 16GB
Storage: SSD 1TB
Display: FHD 144 Hz
Price 875$ the other one is
Lenovi legion 5 pro
Rtx 3070 8gb 140w
Amd Radeon 7 5800H
16 gb ram
512 gb ssd
Gaming keyboard
Gaming headset
Gaming mouse
Price 775
Both are second hand
Which one shall i buy?
Does 100$ worth it?
Hello there, yes I would go with the MSI for 100$ more
@@JULVEXGAMINGis it that better? By avg how many fps are different between them? 10-20?20-40? In ur openion
@@Warzer- In certain games you can get near to 30/40% more performance
Consider also DLSS3 and frame generation with the RTX4070 but of course depends on your budget and what you game
@@JULVEXGAMING actually the only concern I have is the MSI display, is it that bad? I don't intend to buy a monitor
@@Warzer- in this price point almost all of the laptops aren’t good in terms of display, to me isn’t that bad (I have seen worse) but obviously that’s just different in each of us
For second nvme, they will send the parts to attach for free.
Thanks for sharing this!
@@JULVEXGAMING do you know what is the tgp for the gpu? I have been planning to buy this. Hence got to know about other stuff. I saw somewhere it is set at 105w. Can it be increased? If not will it give better performance than a 4060 laptop?
@@rithuikrajeev8039 that’s correct the tgp is 105w and the voltage unfortunately is locked
