Omen claim's this is the world's COOLEST 14" gaming laptop, so naturally we have to find a way to make it over heat :)

Meanwhile my CPU idling at 95°C:
check 4:18 mins, he is on balance mode. Bruh....
@@n_e_h_a_l_shouldn't impact much
@@zUltraXO It impacts a lot. For example, on my lenevo laptop, I get around 50-65c on balance mode. But on PERFORMANCE mode I get around 92-95 on heavy load.
This occurs mainly because, on balance mode, every laptop has a cpu and gpu MHZ cap which helps to balance the temperature and workload.
@@n_e_h_a_l_bro has never heard of new amd cpus
I just realized we were talking about laptops
Make a cpu heater PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
cpu power heater of an heater that heats cpus?
💀
bro you just take the cooler off. No reason to make this
@@MrTefe take a joke?
If you didn't know, this emoji means 🙏 *high five*
Critism:
1) Please measure the ambient temp because obviously you're in an airconded room and might be putting at maximum cold (heat gun doesn't really count because a small source of heat won't win against a really cold room)
2) Please measure fan noise because obviously no gaming laptop would be overheated if they sound like a jet (noise in video doesn't count coz he can just reduce it)
3) Please run a really have game such as maxed out cyberpunk.
4) Please shows performance overlay because they can thermal throttle or you might just use the silent/cool profile. And also what's the fps? What's the cpu/gpu load? What's their ghz? Etc etc
5) Please use power instead of battery for higher tdp
Conclusion: This video is nothing but a pure sponsored bootlicking the laptop while not using scientific testing to show the actual scenario.
Cooling solutions be getting crazy nowadays. I remember my old gaming laptop, used to overheat like hell! Couldn't even put it on your lap without it melting.
Yea true, but he didnt stress test it. He didnt run a single benchmark. He is sponsored by them so he tip toed around it by scamming his viewers. How tf does nobody realize he didnt even use a benchmark.
@@conm9891he literally ran prime95
@@conm9891 still good cooling. my friend has this exact laptop and it's really weird when comes over and gets better thermals than me
@@conm9891 Dudes whole channel is about weird and wacky pc modifications and pushing to the limits, you sure you got the right channel ?😂
@@conm9891 because he did
Honestly who tries to show off the cooling of a laptop without actually showing the inside of the laptop?
explaining literally any average gaming laptop's features in a sponsored video
Real comment
Please use the Laptop plugged in since this allows for higher tdp and more Heat
That would require him to be honest with his viewers and he cant since he is a sell out scammer. No benchmark? Not plugged in? What a pathetic clown he is. Unsubscribe from this lier.
It also provides more power to the cooling system, it’s easier to overheat things when they’re on battery
@@shocknaw you have acces to full power while plugged in in laptops.
@@toshio-tamura my guy, I have a laptop with a 4090, it heats up faster when on battery cuz the cooling system can’t use full power
@@shocknawFans use little electricity and you can also manually set fan speed even on battery (strix scar 17 tested valid), while the chip’s power draw is much more restricted on battery
tbh, I love this thing. I turned off the dGPU, for 7-9 hour battery life, but when I had it on the fans are ridiculously good.
id better to turn off that dGPU for more battery life unless i need more gpu power. also the iGPU on intel core ultra is actually not bad it can run beamng drive at medium settings 60fps
Ensure to monitor CPU power consumption throughout these tasks, then switch to performance mode, check CPU power consumption during benchmarking, and subsequently record the temperatures.
The CPU remains cool during these tasks because it is not be operating at full load, hence maintaining lower temperatures.
Whoever designed this laptop has a medical engineering degree.
Any thermal/mech engineer would know this tbh
Im guessing the vapor chamber tech, liquid metal, factory undervolt, and the laptop chassis itself acts as a thermal mass(its aluminum same thing apple does with their stuff) are what makes it so cool. I highly recommend liquid metal for copper heatsinks on laptops, legit 20C difference in most cases. Remember these are laptop components, they are purposefully given less power in order to keep them cooler, desktop components would not be able to stay this cool in that form factor.
I really appreciate you using the headset mic, showing people that you dont need a very expensive mic to create content, is that the hyperx cloud 3?
hurts my ears, but like eh
its really hurting bro he needs to buy a decent mic
At least in today's time, no expensive mic is needed. Just record yourself and put your voice in adobe podcast and see the magic
Its because he is sponsored by hyper-x not because its good. Yall really need to use ur brains when using social media, mr eyester is a lier and a sellout.
@@k1lez yea he wears it bc he signed a contract and has to wear it. But telling viewers the truth would hurt so he made up a lie.
Magnesium-aluminium bodies are nothing new, Lenovo has featured an alloy chassis in Thinkpad models over the last 20 years.
my old thinkpad used to reach up to 105c (shut down) on cpu
@@RaduNerdfull of dust etc. or and no thermal paste
@@Xenoray1 yeah probably that. used that laptop for 9yrs, w no cleaning/thermal paste change. Tho it still had bad temps at the start
@RaduNerd One time I ran my Brickpad without thermal paste and while it ran a little warmer it was largely unfazed. You're right about Brickpads getting hot, your issue was lack of maintenance, but ventilation is designed to be as minimal as possible to keep that quiet monolithic corporate look. I know my Z60m used to run hot and so does my E560, my SL510 has a duo core and doesn't get as warm but is designed very similarly. Still a lot cooler than any MacBook or MacBook carbon copy.
@@RaduNerd pre 2017 laptops are cheeks.
For those considering this laptop, it is only a 65W gpu (50W base + 15W turbo) for both the 4060 & 4070, so you get limited performance but good cooling
Really? My 2023 omen 17 has a 140w rtx 4060
not rl,i checked some said is 75-90w gpu,and rtx 40 series is already better than rtx 30 series about heat up
6:11 You don’t need specialized fans nor sealing to use a vapor chamber, which is basically an enlargened heat pipe. This vapor chamber have nothing to do with the medical hyperbaric chamber, as it is actually hypobaric so that the liquid inside can vaporize under lower temperatures. Besides, any ordinary fan create a pressure difference in the first place to even move air, and that too applies for laptop fans😅
Nice Video. However, it would've been interesting to check how many watts the CPU and GPU were receiving during these stress tests. I've heard this laptop feeds less watts to those components than the competitors, like the Asus ROG Zephyrus 14, which results in lower temperatures, but also in lower performances.
And the keyboard is also based on HyperX's keyboard and Pudding keycaps right? Would have been nice to see a quick test on those.
As someone that has this, these keys are the best keys I've typed with on a keyboard. I massively prefer it over the Macbook keyboard and the Surface keyboards I've used.
@@SinistralEpochGood to know, thanks.
How tf did he stress test it without running a single benchmark? He lied and tricked his viewers. He is a sellout and lying to his viewrs for more money.
@@conm9891 he tried to heat it up externally and the temperature goes down real fast after he stopped doing it, even without a benchmark it's already a good sign that omen ain't lyin abt it
Meanwhile my Pavilion idling at 70°C and gaming at 98°C.
(yes the vents are clean and paste replaced)
Pretty sure if you'd run the laptop plugged in your thermals would be way higher.... On battery it limits the CPU and GPU TDP
actually insane for a hp laptop. My current hp pavilion 15 gaming is reaching 60c cpu js watching this video. And goes up to 98c when playing apex. Max fan speed + cooling pad
BTW, I can see that the power port was not connected during some of the testng session.
This should not occur whenever you are attempting to stress test anything on laptop, as power limit is well, limited. Thus leaving performance on the table and a lot of heat as well
Wow...Not one mention of the GPU's TGP which goes a long way to explaining the temperatures. Scammer.
You didnt need to open that much apps. Beamng+Laptop CPU= Results :D
OMG LOL YES
can confirm cuz i have beamng drive
He didnt even run a benchmark. He is paid by them so he cant make the product look bad. He is a scamming pos that i wish i realized earlier.
Bonus overheating: Use ai traffic and multiple vehicles.
Disclaimer, I am not responsible for any resulting house fires or explosions!!!!
more traffic = more heat
Did you create a space between the bottom of the laptop and the surface? I believe that would have allowed more airflow and cooler temperature
I thought hyperbaric chamber is what Goku use to train Gohan to beat Cell...Damn you technology...
8:50 if i own any OMEN laptop, i don't need any dongle for wireless headsets because i use samsung galaxy buds live so i just need to use bluetooth
Try opening the omen command center. It'll heat up like crazy. 😂
Did you play while charging the laptop? Show us what's the battery power mode. Try to set it highest performance and see if it's on fire
I'm all about good heat management in laptops, and this laptop looks like it's a beast at that!
Bruh, he didnt even use a benchmark. He didnt stress test it. He lied and tried to trick ppl like u into not realizing he is paid by them so he cant make the product look bad. Who tf says they r gonna stress test and not run a benchmark?

That thing is gonna be the Omen Transcend 14 gaming dustbox in a month
My wirelesss cloud 3's make a high pitched white noise when no audio's playing, have you ever noticed that? Love the vids
It’s on balanced mode
sheesh, and my thinkpad p53 just dumps a lot of heat as well as being just as loud
This also a very compelling "Lap"top in a long time, cause of how cold it gets
tell me where you got your microphone pls it's sounds well, like a retro style microphone I think
Please tell us the resolution of the game, the specifications of the laptop, the mode at which you are testing your laptop. Even i would game on asus tuf f15 laptop on silent mode instead of turbo to show that the laptop did not go above 55°C instead of 90°C in turbo mode. Also tell us your room temperature. I live at a place where room temperature is 28-30°C. You said you had a outside temperature of 70F or 21°C which can give differences
I'd assume that thanks to its cooling design it would be practically impossible to properly clean or replace the fans and the thermal compound. Any teardown video?
I hope this became the new standard for laptops cooling
Well it has lower wattage, so you will be limited by performance
That laptop is cooler than my pc at idle with the case open
meanwhile my cpu chilling at 75 C idle
Meanwhile my laptop i7 cpu siting a 85°c on youtube
Are the hinges made from plastic or aluminium? Also, are the places that the hinge mounting screws go into also plastic?
for me, 85 degrees is actually not too hot because my cpu temperature is always at 100 degrees when im playing games especially at maximum performance (and sometimes i have to limit my processor speed to 55% to avoiding overheat)
haha i get 85 degrees in lobby and 10 seconds within entering a game it averages 99 degrees
get your laptop repasted if its reaching any where above 90
How bad is the screen wobble? Noticed it quite a but druing the video - even when just pulling the laptop closer to you. Looks like the hinge is a little loose.
I got to see the OMen.. the display is a wow.. but I was going to get razer blade 14 ‘’ what do you recommend?
6:10 you dont need to have seal design to use a vapor chamber as heat spreader 😂
Seal just made better suction which sure it get fresh air from vent
I LOVE YOU YEESTER!!!
this guy somehow making fire content with a headset mic
if you did that last part with my dell latitude e6540 with a i7 vpro, it would literally be a concorde at max power
Not gonna lie, if you use that coldest laptop here in the Philippines without Air Conditioner, its temp will spike a lot since it is currently 47C here.
Bro if only I could get those temperatures... All my laptops go up to 80-90 degrees full load. Well not all, but most of them
Put a laptop on top of a leafblower to cool it down
2:50 The fans: 💨🔊
Doesnt the razer blade have a vapor cooling chamber and a sleek/thin body design as well?
can u review top 10 laptops (gaming)

Discord light mode: am I a joke to you?
Whatever I do, I can't manage to even heat up my PC a bit. My 14400F usually stays on the 50-60°C mark while my 4060-Ti doesn't go above 55°C
is that a cpu chillin in the background?
You didn't mention the screen wobble.
120HZ + OLED + 4060 = RIP Battery
dang I thought you will going to disassemble it I waited for it🤦♂️
If you had laptops that suddenly stopped outputting display its because you hold them from the corner. Never hold them from the corner no matter how strudy the case is.
I would love to see this laptop with an AMD configuration!
Prime95 small FFTs using one or 2 less cores than the pc to leave a core or 2 for the gpu to run full tilt with furmark. That will get it cooking.
How are the hinges 😂
I’ve got a HP Omen 15 that’s around 1 year and 6 months old and it’s hinges started to fall apart within 6 months
you claim that the fans got to their max speed on its own but actually you can see that you're the one setting them to max if you pause at 3:11... so yeah if you had them on auto, the fans wouldn't go beyond 3700-4000rpm in its balanced mode. they can go up to 6000 if you're on the performance mode though, which you weren't using
this is a beast!!!
What is the software used to check the heat
wouldn't it be a nightmare bro collecting dust in the intake
Watching this on my 2021 OMEN desktop
classical is back
My reaction on the hot air gun was like hole mole
this laptop got me tbh but is the 'hinge' durable ???
the question is how durable is the transcend 14 display
My HP victus stays on 51- 59 °C playing heavy games like (gow, gta 5 , assassin creed etc)
Mryeester can you make a ultimate gaming setup with the oldest case possible
my laptop idles at home screen at 60 degrees on a Mastercooler pad 😭
should have checked wattage, boost clocks, framerates..
Maybe you should put the laptop in charging, temps don’t go high if it isn’t plugged in
Why aren't using the performance or the turbo mode ??
using a gaming laptop which is not plugged in for a stress test.
To hell with lenovo and their transparent displays, this is the innovation we need
my msi does the same with the press of a button the fans go up to 5000-6000 rpm and without gaming it sits at 20-30
bro is NOT sleeping
Meanwhile my laptop is at -445 F or 2.7 kelvin (it is in space I wonder how it got there).Anyway it’s the coldest
I just blew it up and parts of it went into the stonks meme going up that knocks it in the stock market which when up and it made it in space
Are the hinges on it finally good 😂
The hinges on my hp omen 15 are falling apart
you could have used msi afterburner to see the temp during gaming
i dont think fps game is something you want to test heating on laptop. fps games are generally lighter than triple A games that requires a lot from GPU
Pro tip: If you want to overheat any computer, Starfield at max graphics. (or at least the max your device can run it at)
MY WATERCOOLED RYZEN 7 5800X IS CHILLING AT 57 WHILE WATCHING THIS ANd YOURE CASUALLY GETTING THAT WHILE GAMING AND EDITING, If I could afford this thing I'd definitely get one, you should do a giveaway!!
I have a Lenovo Legion 7i I got for ~$1100 like a year ago. It's pretty nice
Hp means hinge problems (source myself and *The Greatest Technician That's Ever Lived*)
It's a bit complicated to overheat a laptop with a crappy 50W gpu tdp. I don't hate it, it's a nice machine but if you power throttle your components then you can claim it's "cool", you're just missing out on performance.
Yeah I also hate that
"Hyperglycemic crime chamber"

What about the keyboard itself? Does that get hot?
Hey i have a question is 16GB ram RTX2060 CPU AMD but dont know model RGB case and a gamer motherboard (i was lazy to look to motherboard to see the manufacturer)😊
not really a good way of test tbh. cool temperature could just mean that it just clocked down because of throttling and using low power profile. you need to show real performance results with wattage, clock speed etc not just showing the temperature and telling us that the cooling is awesome.
The screen looks like touch screenable ngl
If the temps are THAT low, WHY are the power limits that low? They could have made it way more powerful.
Hp going all out... I have a hp pavilion aero 13 with a ryzen 5 5600u... I rendered a blender animation for 72 hours straight and it was barely hot to the touch
