Yamaha Virago R6 fork swap. 1983 XV750 Virago with Yamaha R6 forks. It's easy! Virago Build Ep. 2

After some delay another XV750 build video.
Turns out this fork swap is about as simple as it gets. After a bunch of messing around and issues just one change to a factory Yamaha R6 fork means it will fit into a 1983 XV750 Virago frame with new bearings! Easy!

Im doing the same thing , but im using forks from honda vtr1000 but i have to extend the steering stem its short to do it like you

Great work. I always wanted to do an upgrade like this but I thought that the upper clamps would be too close to the fuel tank, limiting the turn radius. Did you find this?
