  • Yogurt is a reliable and healthy way to satisfy your gut and your appetite… except when it's filled with a bunch of nutritional no-nos.

Aldi has an organic Greek-style plain yogurt made with whole milk & no added sugar. My main go-to for store-bought yogurt.

I love this yogurt. It’s delicious as is. No sweetening needed.
Also, it’s dead easy to make yogurt at home.

Who here remembers 8oz. cups of yogurt? Now they are 6oz and even 4oz.. What a rip off!

      5argetech56,
Ahh, shrinkage with an increase in price, greed is an ugly thing! Used to buy mayonnaise for $3.99 just a couple of years ago, now it's $10.99 and they shrunk the amount by adding a Dome indentation at the bottom that goes up into the jar...crazy!

@bkm2797 They used to be 32oz. Now 30oz and 27oz. Same thing with coffee.

I prefer the plain Greek Yogurt from Costco.
I add my own toppings sparingly.

I prefer the Aldi's whole milk vanilla yogurt as well as their Greek yogurt flavors whole milk coconut, key lime, and Choboni pumpkin pie. I also get the plain whole milk yogurt and mix in fruit and a little sweetener like stevia or just a drop of honey.

We eat Liberté plain yogurt and kefir in our family. We don’t like Greek yogurt except for making tzatziki. Kefir for fruit smoothies in the morning and plain yogurt mixed with berries and honey at night for dessert.

This reminds me of a Seinfeld episode, the frozen yogurt scandal, the gang was getting fatter despite the non fat and healthy claims , cuz luv rudy makes an appearance, buy plain yogurt and add your own fruit and sugar, then you know whats in it

I don’t care for yogurt. Don’t eat it either. I’ve always thought it has a taste of sour milk. I don’t like the taste of regular milk let alone sour milk. 😂

My only problem with greek Yogurt is that it smells like spoiled milk. Yes, i know that is exactly what it is, but at least the non-Greek variety doesn't smell so much like what it is.

Don’t pay attention to this video. I eat whatever yogurt I want to eat. Sugar is not the enemy. My dad ate sugar every day of his life and when he passed away at almost 100 years old, he was not on a single medication except a reflux one. And that chirpy, nasal voice is another reason not to watch this.

Sugar is fine if your body converts it to energy, for fuel during exercise/metabolism.
Sugar is bad if your body stores it as fat, from consuming more than needed for fuel.
