Built this deck today, was my first deck I’ve built, I’m newer to yu gi oh as a whole, I played duel links for like 3 weeks, this deck really helped me learn to play the game, went from bronze 5 to gold 5 in couple hours, only lost 1 game, thanks for the video!
Curious what made you want to play duel links being new to yugioh?
@@RobinsAssistant I tried duel links a little after it came out on mobile for nostalgia, I used to love watching the show as a kid, but I’m not a fan of mobile games to begin with so I stopped playing after a couple weeks, master duel came up on my recommended on TH-cam and thought I may as-well give this one a shot too and I’m liking it so far!
@@RobinsAssistant I'll tell you why I started Yu-Gi-Oh on duel links. I've always been interested in it but didn't want to sink a bunch of money into the irl tcg and all the other online Yu-Gi-Oh games were very small population wise and only really had players who have already been playing for years. So a f2p official Yu-Gi-Oh game with an actual pool of players who were just learning as well it seemed like a no-brainer

Reminds me of this 26 turn duel with this deck against Dark Magicians 🥵 Survived with 216 LP and and wiped him out from 8000 after he threw the entire archetype at me 🤣 Dracos stay being clutch!
Dude, I used to play True Draco back in 2018 before quitting the game. I'll definitely make this deck now that I'm getting back into it through Master Duel. Unfortunately Diagram at 1 hurts the deck quite a bit but Dinomight AND Kaiser Colosseum at 3?!! This insane for this deck! Thanks for the build, it'll be my very first craft!
I made a true drace deck but I don't really know hot to destroy monsters with big attacks. Can you explain me how true draco counters that
@@2muchsparky16 Usually you do that by sending one of your trap cards from the field to the GY (Apocalipse or Return) by tribute summoning ir or with Diagram effect. Both can destroy monsters on the field when sent from field to GY.
@@2muchsparky16 you can also use apocalypse effect to destroy a TD spell/trap to half the atk and def of the opponent’s monsters permanently
Wouldn't "Domain of the True Monarchs" be far better than chicken game for this deck?
I am complete beginner to yu gi oh and build this deck. Damn, at first, it's little bit confusing for beginner. but when you are play more with this deck and understand it more. This deck is amazing. Thank you bro'
These types of decks are what new players need to be on. Keep seeing people playing strikers that make my eyes bleed BC everybody recommended them to play the deck when strikers actually takes skill to pilot. Just had an opponent lock himself out of using spells by keeping something in normal monster zones giving me the ability to pop all his backrow like widow anchors and stuff without him being able to respond.😴

Haven't really played since just before the set we got the borrel synchro monster. Tested out a dinky endymion spellbook deck and really enjoyed it. I'd really like to see a solid competitive build for it on master duel
In Master Duel, Kaiser Colosseum + Skill Drain=Mystic Mine. 😁
Sort of, Mine is even more powerful because your opponent can't even drop Ash or Maxx "C" on you while he has more monsters.
You need a monster of the field so either boarder or amano which is technically mystic mine
I would get 1 copy of the big Draco also, Metaltron XII, you're gonna want to load it in for certain formats. It's basically Master Peace but without the destruction effect, it also gives a free ss from deck if destroyed.

Drawing Demise and Maxx "C" together is not the worst, except if you went first since many decks have floating effects and your True Draco cards and monsters are gonna make floating effects live.
There's a 2 card semi-limit on some of these spells. What other cards would work well for this deck?

On that duel vs Tribrigade you could've used Dnomight first then chain Maxx "C", in case he didn't use any effect.

Draco cards don’t have a secret pack, and everything else is staples. Only thing I could think of would just be the monarch box I guess or maybe the true king box. Think true king box would have diagram and return and monarch box has erupt, other than that it’s mainly a deck you’ll have to craft. But it’s cheap so

Dreith is good there.. being able to make your monsters indestructible or untargettable is so good..
My advice on master duel is to create a simple fun beatdown deck which not many know about and try to go second. I used Gizmek as it stops most decks from OTK’s with Orochi.

I wouldn't do this unless it's very cheap to build. Gizmek/Gren Maju beatdown decks have a surprising amount of supers and ultras. Crusadia Kaiju is a cheap beatdown deck that also deals with problematic turn 1 combo deck boss monsters
@@Harmonic14 would that crusadia beatdown deck be a better investment than say this cheap True Draco deck I'm thinking of building? I'm new and I want to use a decent meta deck but one that isn't super complex and has a million combos to learn first.
That deck auto looses to VFD tho so I stick with draco

Kaiser Colosseum is one of the best going 2nd cards in the game
@@Harmonic14 how so? Kaiser colloseum doesnt destroy monster that are alrdy on the field, so it does nothing against an established board

When u make a budget deck u can assume that peoole wont play it as a budget build forever. They most likely wanna upgrade this as they unlock more and stronger cards it would be nice for them to know what cards to replace 1st and what to aim for.
Decks like this usually already have a pretty good synergy, when shown like this. There is no sense in replacing anything. Use it to farn and make a new non budget deck on the side.
Master duels gives you enough gems in the beginning to build two non budget decks anyways

How do you play this deck when your opponent goes first and sets up a bunch of negates?
Set Skill Drain/Erupt/Imperm, bait negates, activate another floodgate, control the game from there. You're just out of luck against decks like Drytron sometimes in a best of 1 match though

Love the channel, gonna stick to the physical card game tho. Hopefully this doesn’t completely replace the tcg/ocg/physical card game. Considering my local card shop still doesn’t do tournaments i think this is the end of my hobby.
I doubt it'll replace it, it's basically MTG Arena but for YuGiOh OCG
This is really good for reaching more people. Like in my country, there's no yugioh pro scene here. Absolutely nothing. With this, me and my friends can play somewhat competitive
Usually games like MD help to increase the number of local scenes because many new and returning players will take the simulator first, and then, playing with it, they will have the desire to take/return to the physical card game
The best budget deck is the deck that you don't open your wallet to, lol. I reached Plat 4 with sky strikers, faced too many eldlich in gold and up. Didn't spend one dime.
people right now has been abusing tons of sky strikers.. i just had to use toon world to climb ranks rn.. but i do want to build sky strikers and some ghostrick deck

My first tournent ever i bought a structure deck off the wall and joined, i played against a 13 year old kid who, using chicken game, proceeded to get the mecha liger quantal king whatever dude out and had him at 13k attack with 9 materials and he could swing 3 times after he puts it out he goes "oh dang, i went first so i cant attack i guess that triple attack was wasted your turn" i said i think i should surrender and he revealed his last card to be another triple attack trap card and said he didnt care either way lmao. Chicken game is 100% busted

@@vitoyin5544 magna slayer is the trap card, and i dont remember exactly how he got 13k attack but it was using chicken game to draw with terraforming i cant remeber this was almost 4 years ago and i dueled multiple times against him at other tournaments and he played the same deck so they get confusing but ill never forget that 1 turn
Why does everybody say you can’t live without maxx c I got to plat with only crafting ash blossom for hand traps and playing ba which isn’t meta and last season I got plat playing no hand traps and paleo frog so maxx c is def not necessary ppl just like not letting the other player play yugioh because they’re scared they will make 12 negate and insta win stupid meta slow the game down so hand traps aren’t needed and the meta won’t revolve around turn 1 opening maxx c or ash like Konami wants their game to be toxic to ramp up card prices in tcg but in reality now that master duel is here who cares about tcg balance master duel at least like you guys have chance to hit things before they are op because we have prior knowledge of tcg and Ocg implications but all we get is a lazy banlist and a hand trap meta that is unskillful and that nobody likes. Change my mind

You will often tribute your spells so your Emptiness will most likely stay only one turn one field

Big tip here: card of demise cannot be used if you special summon and in fact your deck DOES special summon. If you use true dracos return during that turn, your card of demise won’t be live. Don’t be caught with your pants down on this one, could hurt bad.
Any half decent player knows this, but there are so many players on the game that just press buttons when the game says to that it's actually a fair reminder. lol

No lie people that are running any mega deck are lame 🤣 like you’re not making money for playing this game just enjoy the game. Mind you I’ve shut down a few mega decks with a deck that I slapped together that’s not broken. Try hards are the worth.
