I just want to say thank you to Jenny and MSQC for these excellent tutorials. I'm a newer quilter and following her tips and directions have given me confidence to tackle my first quilts (the jelly roll race was the first!) and now my skills keep growing enough to attempt this one as well. It makes it so easy to buy my supplies and watch the tutorials all from one great shop!

Looking forward to doing this as a baby quilt for my pending arrival. Planning for the color segments to be scrappy in order to use up some scraps from big sisters quilt!!

Beautiful colours in this quilt. This pattern would be great to for stash busting also. It would look great in scrappy blues with neutral, or greens plus neutral. Another " must do" pattern. Thanks Jenny.

I have really enjoyed watching MSQC tutorials You make the patterns and process look soooooo easy and then change it with the flip of the wrist I love it! Have a bunch of your patterns in my wish list plus many that I have already purchased! Years ago I worked at Piece Goods Shop. Remember one big sale day! All of these sweet little old ladies would come in, get their shopping carts and here they went searching for their fabric treasures! By time they got to the cutting table, you could NOT see them because of the stack of bolts of fabrics in their carts! They would then politely say "one quarter yard of each please"! Well I vowed that I would never quilt !Guess what! I was wrong. Have no idea how many tops I have started and still unfinished! Nor how many I have finished, Nor how many I have ready to be quilted, some with backing and some without backing and no idea how many I have finished and given away. I even bought an 8 x 12 storage shed just for UFP, finished projects .tools, patterns, supplies and fabric!!!! What else can I say---I'm Hooked!

Making it easy for us again Jenny. Very pretty layer cake. Makes a nice big block. Those angles get the best of me too. I wanted to use the yellow and grey in a quilt with a message about "sunshine and rain" kind of story. The only issue is, the "ups and downs" in a mountain/valley quilt makes the chevron ideal, but I'm so "done" with that. The Herringbone is the answer!!!Thanks sew much!

I was thinking it might be neat not to stager them and keep like colored fabrics together and the accent fabric - in your case white - together. Also, interesting how you use different sewing machines and put them on both sides of your work area in different videos. I recently bought a Babylock Crescendo and the Koala cabinet (quilting version - I went the full nine yards on it - didn’t hold back on any part of it moneywise Laugh Out Loud ) and I was thinking I saw you using the Koala cabinet with a machine once. I would think it would be easiest for you to have that in your videoing studio permanently and was wondering why you don’t. I learn a WHOLE bunch from you and thank you for all the time you put into your passion. It’s obviously a labor of love ! Thanks again from Alabama staying away from the Coronavirus I pray and hope. Please stay healthy to you, your family, your employees and friends.

I love this quilt and it will be my next project!! I do have a question though about the binding you used. You mention in the tut that you took all of your little pieces to make a scrappy binding. But it seems to me that there would be no little pieces based on how you use the LC to put the blocks together. Could you elaborate please on how you achieved this? :)

Beautiful! I would like to make a memory quilt for my MIL. I have some of her late husbands dress shirts as well as a few pairs of his jeans. In your opinion, would it be alright to combine these two types of clothing? Thank you :)

Help! If I were to use yardage to do this for a queen or oversized king, how much yardage will I need!?
