Villagers wall themselves when building houses. Trading carts stuck at markets. Units walk through or around enemies without attack (if not manually using Patrol, meleeing units are stupid af). Units ignore everything trying to get to the gathering point set by buildings, this is the most annoying one, they wont attack even if enemies are 2 tiles away from the gather point. They have to get to the exact point before doing anything! Also I've seen AI build towers on their path and kill a lot if you dont notice. I won't include things like rading farms or trading lines. But those i mentioned were stupid logics in aoe2 HD!

A reason why i love AoE 2 so much is the over all aspect of it, i don't know i just love it a lot! And the definitive edition really improved the game a lot
My PC doesnt have Graphics Card and i can run Definitive edition pretty well, so i Say it's a Great improvement over the original in all, tbh I started to love Age of Empires when i got it!

I once had 2 guys try to tower rush me at the same time and it failed miserably. Until one of the guys managed to get a castle up. Map was acropolis. My 2 teammates literally went and cleared them all out while I fought off the towers.

Computers were designed for land maps, not world maps.
theres so much more pain then this. seige tower hopping. when u click sell a resource in market and it sells 1000. improperly scouted map to find a one tile gap into your base.
the problem with res trapped by trees never occur that often. there is a pretty good algorythm that prevents it. ok sometimes somewhere on the map are ressources trapped, but never the start package.
To be honest, I actually said aloud "Yeah, right." But after watching and seeing each respective gripe, I completely take back what I said. This had sooooo much pain put into it, especially the part about advancing to the next age or any time you're in the middle of researching something only to have the building destroyed just before it finishes. God I both love and hate this game, really makes me want to get back into it.

A good defense or rush could off set that, even if you don't have a plan for the economy, I think. At least you'd have soldiers near the enemy... 6. The pain is real... 7. Ugh yes but well we can't always help that I guess 8. Make some Shotel warriors xD Or make a few defensive units on the castle 9. Wtf? 10. Ok, no xD 11. Ok YES that's _too_ painful sometimes 12. @@zxylo786 I had to empty most oceans of fish to avoid lag. At least my computer can run the original Age of Empires with no problems, with a maximum of 50 units per civilization.

Or when boar luring when the boar hits the vil it tries to fight back only to die, making the boar return to its original position.

you missed the ultimate boar getting eaten by TC
took me 37 seconds to realize this all was staged.

I think you missed accidentally deleting your units/buildings
Some of these were a result of a lack of common sense on behalf of the player though
