Beginner questions. Are the riffs in metal song always played on 1 string only? i thought it need to be play on full chords like accoustic guitars. All the riff in here seems like only used on 5 or 6 strings.
Mostly always power cords, where say you want to do a open power cord, you would have the E string open and the A string barring the second fret. And say you want to do a second fret power cord, you would barr the second fret on the E string and barr the 4th fret on the A string
@@MoXy69409most are but as you get into more like technical stuff you could expect to see chords and stuff, not sure if you know or listen to periphery but their a good example but that’s also very advanced. Good luck on playing guitar!
