If you've played for 16 years, it probably wouldn't be difficult for you to pick up on guitar percussion. Once you've got down the coordination, it's not that difficult. It's like learning classical for the first time, how your thumb doesn't quite work so well with the rest of your fingers, but after a while it starts to happen on it's own accord. Hehe. Accord.
