OK... What about getting some of Yoshoku food in Japan? Lol... Show us some food that isn't Japanese but it is modified to Japanese taste.. And what foreigners think about it.. That might be interesting. Maybe you can ask some Gaijins about it samurai. 😁
I don't understand why there are not more subscribers. These are extremely detailed and exhaustive videos. No doubt they require a lot of research and editing to make.
Glad to hear that! As you mentioned, making videos does take time... For us Japanese, things that seem obvious may not be so for people coming from overseas. We want to help ease any anxieties and ensure they enjoy Japan. Making such videos is our role, we believe!
I really appreciate the extra effort that went into providing names, maps, and especially links directly to their location on Google Maps! It is a lot of effort for no 'benefit' for yourself, just to help out the audience. Many channels do not go to the effort of adding all that information and extra filming/editing etc. So thank you!
Thank you for the great comment! We're really glad to hear that. We have a strong desire to create videos that are helpful for travelers. So we will keep making great videos :)
Heading back again in 3 months. Tokyo station is always confusing, no matter how many times I'm there. But love this video, I never reallu paid attention to the food stalls.
Thank you so much for your sharing. Help me a lot and I need more 3-4 days to eat all restaurants and shopping in stores as you recomendend. Very useful information. 😊
Normally when taking day trips out of Tokyo we will go Rokurinsha for breakfast as they open early… really yummy…. Fantastic video guide… so many things to try
By the way I want to appreciate the effort that you put into this very well thought out video! With maps, name of place, landmark the places are close to, trying it out the food for us and showing what flavours are in it. You not only showed an area of the tokyo station but had the full coverage of stores inside and even outside the train station. That takes alot of dedication and hard work into just this one video! Presentation is professional and video is stable and not shaky. I hope that your channel will continue to grow and achieve the success you envisioned to have!🎉🎉
Glad to hear that!! Thank you! We've had some challenging experiences when traveling abroad. We want travelers coming to Japan to have a great time, so we make sure to explain things in detail in our videos! We'll continue making great videos in the future too :)
So many interesting foods. For some having seen all the tourist attractions Tokyo Station food service would be fascinating. Great for hot summer days or cold winter ones. If it's raining spend the day at the station. Like the Tiramisu. Enjoyed vlog thank you.
This is a great compilation and a lot of work has gone into it. Unfortunately, due to food intolerances and allergies, I cannot eat any of the food. It's good to know that for me, Tokyo station is a good place for souvenirs, but not for food. It will save me a lot of time and disappointment.
love the videos! I would play your videos in the back ground even when I'm not watching. I noticed you guys use the word "aroma" quite often, maybe double check on the pronunciation of this word.
A great video idea would be on some popular character cafes. The Pokémon cafe as well as Pikachu Sweets. The full sized Kirby Cafe. The Hello Kitty Cafes in Ikebukuro and Hello Kitty Garden Cafe in Ueno
I might take a trip there, sounds like a fun place to do a food and shopping tour. How many places are cash only and how much cash would you recommend for a visit here?
Hi! It's a bit away from Daimaru, but in the Marunouchi area near Tokyo Station, there are some benches outside where you can have your bento :) 【Address】maps.app.goo.gl/odB9Y4YmQsk1yGbC9
Most ekibens cannot be warmed up in the microwave. If you want a warm lunch, convenience stores are recommended. You can ask the cashier to warm up your ekiben at the register when you pay :)
Thank you for your comment! It depends on the restaurant, but many places don't have a strong pork bone odor in their tsukemen. The flavor is rather rich. It's delicious, so please give it a try if you can.
Great video! I'm already missing my stay at the Tokyo Station hotel. By the way, ever since you guys got the original voice actors back, we've only heard Akanemaru talk. Did Junjiro's original voice actor actually not come back? 😱

I am in Tokyo now. My first time. I like the city very much. But one problem I have most of the time is everything is in Japanese, it's hard for foreigners to understand and most people don't speak English. It's not practical to use your phone to scan for translation everywhere while a long line of people are queuing. Basically it is a clean high energetic city. Not my type of city although I like it.

Don't worry, because there's almost always English written on train signs :)

Could you do a vegan recommendation in Tokyo?
We've had vegan food in Shibuya before. It's a store called 2foods inside Loft in Shibuya :)

Yay!!😆🎉
I go in September
You will be there to see all the red maple trees. I recommend sankeien gardens in yokohama! I saw it today (10/4/24) and it was beautiful
Hi! If we buy food at Daimaru, where can we go to sit down to eat it?
Hi! It's a bit away from Daimaru, but in the Marunouchi area near Tokyo Station, there are some benches outside where you can have your bento :)
【Address】maps.app.goo.gl/odB9Y4YmQsk1yGbC9
Hi! Can I ask if all bento containers can be heated in the microwave or just for the crab bento container only? Thanks!
Most ekibens cannot be warmed up in the microwave. If you want a warm lunch, convenience stores are recommended. You can ask the cashier to warm up your ekiben at the register when you pay :)
Hello! Thanks for your response and your very detailed video!❤
Enjoyed the navigation/ map- style narrative. Are ekibens delivered/ made fresh daily?
I think Ekiben are being brought to Tokyo Station from various places around Japan.
Is it true that there is no more need to make a reservation for Kirby cafe petit? There's an update on the website but I'm afraid I misunderstood.
It seems that reservations are no longer required starting in September :)
tokyo station is 24 hours open.?
Can anyone tell me if meat based Tsukemen is generally fishy in smell/taste eg compared to tonkotsu ramen?
Thank you for your comment! It depends on the restaurant, but many places don't have a strong pork bone odor in their tsukemen. The flavor is rather rich. It's delicious, so please give it a try if you can.
Hi I love your channel! the map at 1:24 where can i find it? It's not in the tokyo station site. Thanks so much from italy!
Thank you for the comment! I forgot where I found that map, but if I find it, I'll share the link with you :)

the tokyo station restaurants are 24 hours open?
Most restaurants usually close around 10 PM.
been watching your videos as i am doing research for a trip do you need to buy a tick to enter any of these areas going back and forth?
You'll need a ticket to access the shops inside the ticket gates. You can purchase one at the ticket vending machines :)
