I so much enjoy your videos and I am slowly watching all of them. Thank you so much for them !
Conbinis are everywhere in urban Japan, and they are so convenient. When we are in Japan, we mostly eat in restaurants, but sometimes I also want some food from a conbini, maybe for a bus journey, or when I am hungry at an unsual time. I have very few things where I want it only from that particular chain: its curry pan, from 7/11, and fami-chiki from Family Mart. For other food (egg or tuna mayo sandwiches, onigiri, edamame, chips, cup noodles, and unknown but interesting looking snacks), I dont care which chain I get it from.
Personally, I think that Japan has a lot of amazing food. Cheese and bread are not part of that however. In Switzerland, both cheese and bread are great and we have so many varities, and what you call cheese and bread in Japan is not "the real thing". Of course, thats just my opinion. But I think that everybody from countries where there is great cheese and / or bread will agree.

I’m really happy that you watch so many of our videos and leave comments! Thank you!
As you mentioned, the quality of products at Japanese convenience stores is amazing.
I’ve seen several TV shows about the process of making convenience store products and how they’re produced in factories. When I watch those, I’m always amazed that such delicious food is sold at such low prices, and I really respect their business efforts.
(We once did a taste test of chicken from 7-Eleven, Lawson, FamilyMart, and MINISTOP at Christmas, and all of them were so good that it was hard to pick a favorite... Haha)
I love cheese, but I’ve never been to Switzerland, so I don’t know what authentic Swiss cheese tastes like :( Hopefully, I’ll get to try it someday!

These days, most convenience stores have places to eat, but in downtown areas, the convenience stores are small, so there may be times when they don't have them. We sometimes eat in a park or on the rooftop of some open building :)

At the convenience store, there's a microwave available. When you're at the checkout, the staff will ask if you'd like your bento warmed up. They'll do it for free. It's also a good idea to take it back to your hotel without warming it up and heat it just before eating :)
