Thank you for this video. I moved to Japan couple months ago and really wanted some convienence store reccommendations so this was really helpful. Some of the products mentioned in the video I have already tried and they are really good, especially famichiki.
I like Famichiki too! Other convenience stores sell similar kinds of chicken, so give them a try!

These days, most convenience stores have places to eat, but in downtown areas, the convenience stores are small, so there may be times when they don't have them. We sometimes eat in a park or on the rooftop of some open building :)

I personally find convenience store coffee to be delicious everywhere, but I often buy it along with other items at 7-Eleven :)
The Chinese bun they reviewed is called Pizza-man. Pork buns is niku-man.
If there's all 4 different convenient stores in the intersection. Its a tough call on which one to go but it depends what you want

Yes, most convenience stores have pots of hot water that you can use freely :)

Are there microwaves in those convenience stores? Or we have to prepare those food in our hotel room?
At the convenience store, there's a microwave available. When you're at the checkout, the staff will ask if you'd like your bento warmed up. They'll do it for free. It's also a good idea to take it back to your hotel without warming it up and heat it just before eating :)
