For me, Tokyo's weather in mid-September is comfortable since I lived in tropical places most of my life. It'll be in the 80s (F). Don't be nervous, everything's gonna be alright.
Regarding the tip about playing gachapon at the end of the day: we were eating dinner one night, and when it came time to pay, we were told it was cash only. There were no signs warning us this. My husband didn’t have enough money, all I had was a ¥5000 bill, and some coins. After pooling our money together, it looked like we might not have enough, and that one ¥500 gachapon my husband did was going to put us under. Thankfully I managed to find enough coins, but, I had, no lie, ¥2 yen left. What do you do with single yen coins?
Oh my, that would’ve stressed me out. 😅 Sometimes I see clear boxes by the registers in convenience stores with coins in them. I don’t know if they’re for charity cuz I can’t read Kanji.
