I had a meltdown when you shook the chendol cup. I prefer to leave all that decadent gula melaka at the bottom, so I can savour the drink in different layers.

I chance upon your channel and loved it!love the brother and sister dynamics and your content! Oh by the way ….. The straw thing is science it’s compress air acting like a piston so when u cover the straw and poke in it the compress air makes the straw stronger. Try with a potato also can. 😄😄😄

Maybe you can try going Thomson Plaza for the next episode? Although they have upgraded the mall but the interior is still very old school. There used to be a Yaohan departmental store in the early 90s. 😉👍

I think you can "branch out" to do a hawker centre food review. However, you will need to think how to be different from all the various food bloggers.
Ahhh.. we didn’t intend to focus on food just yet. This was suppose to be part of Joo Chiat complex episode 🤣. But ya, there might be other heartlands content we might consider :)

If possible can visit International Plaza, a mixed development. They have a pool on 36th storey and interesting view from 49th and 50th storey down. Not sure non resident can go in or not.
I didn't even know it was residential wow. I suppose might be a bit challenging for non-staff or residents. Oh well, let's see haha
Cup can hold and carry easily and just slurp it with a straw while on the move (1 handed).
If bowl, you need 1 hand to hold it and 1 hand to use a spoon to scoop.

@@HongisBored Not sure if it's still there in JCC or if you two went, but Aroma Kampung at JCC also have special food too such as tempoyak ikan/sambal. At the back of JCC on the first floor, there's a kopitiam with Tahu Goreng that is very nice also.

I stay at the flat upstairs. The chendol and otah is not to our palate as well. You should try the cheng tng stall (Chee Kong). It’s good and it’s probably the only stall run by Chinese couple 👍🏼

Oh course the kacang pool too salty lah. Without tasting first you mix in all the condiments. Put to the side means add as needed or to taste, don't simply follow people. Haha. But I like your channel a lot.

Not sure about the reno! But yes, it’s quite a breakfast n lunch market. We went again around 4-5pm and nothing much was left le!

去芽龙士乃找找马来人的肉包, 像华人的包子, 但不是白色蒸的, 而是褐色油炸的。
还有马来人的鸡饭, 味道像极华人的鸡饭, 但鸡肉却是油炸的, 配菜有黄瓜与番茄, 还附有一小碗的鸡汤。
This market is just around my area. After filmed, I believe both of you have gone to the PLQ malls? Too many good foods there. You can also find vegan foods at all 3 shopping malls.
Eh yes. I actually love the Peranakan food at PLQ. Ya we tried many places around Paya Lebar, just never document :)

I realized I haven’t been to many hawker centres in Singapore to be honest. There’s like over 100 hawker centres in Singapore when I did a search 🤯
