I'm familiar with that area. My friend moved there 40 some years ago and when my parents were alive they lived on North Hutchinson Island. I went several times a year to see them and fish with my friend. Such a beautiful area and you can't beat the fishing.

Lived in Ft. Pierce for many year, bet I waded both sides of the river a 1000 times! Never ever got skunked. I once saw a 20 to 25 ft saw fish shark swim under North bridge in about 10 pot of water. ( 1983 maybe ).

Love to see that boat traveling out to open water because thats where the monsters lie.. Beautiful out there and you got to go out the wherever the fish are and you found some too bad those bluefish got away I always use wire leader knowing some fish may bite it Good stuff

That spot you were anchored on downtown! 😎🤙 try a lil chum next time! There are some big snapper on that corner dude! Use bigger baits to avoid the lil ones! Several mangroves to 19” and a few muttons-and one cubera in the 5lb range outta the kayak! Ballyhoo plugs. Chum with pilchards. 😎🤙
I need to fish around there again....my adopted mom lives in one of those houses you were fishing the docs by Indian River Drive. It's a beautiful day when the wind is not blowing through there like crazy

That little snapper at 10:50 was a Dog snapper not schoolmaster
Gonna post this too. Dogs are orange for the most part compared to others and the telltale is the “white triangle” under the eye

Careful with those Goliath's. If I am not mistaken we are not supposed to even lift them out of the water. Great video. Keep them coming. Love seeing Fort Pierce videos. I fish at the power plant in big mud creek all the time.
