What kind of people would give you a thumbs down? If I could, I’d give you 10 thumbs up. 99% of TH-camrs just show themselves reeling fish in after fish in after fish in... They don't give you any knowledge or information. Heck they don't even show there cast, the bait or how to jig it. With you dude it's like being there . Keep up the Nice work.
I grew up fishing SE FL. mainly Ft. Pierce & Jensen, now I'm up here fishing your old grounds, Lake Hopatcong and the shore. night time docks and bridges during the last and first hour of tide with a near full moon worked well for me. good luck.
Sebastian is an awesome area to fish. You should bring your kayak and put in at Long Point Park about a mile north of the inlet. Lots of nice mangroves and stuff to explore. Tight lines!!
I really love the way you make your videos man you don’t cut out any of the times when you don’t catch anything and it even feels rewarding for me to watch you catch something. Im about 2 hours from that inlet so I might take the drive up there and hit a few of those spots up!
Out in front of the jetty and just to the right of it on the inside have huge snook. It's mainly during the spawn when the large numbers and big fish are there. July to September
Fishing weighted in Sebastian is always tricky for the rocks and ropes and lines. The pier and the jetty are the best options. Or you can go with your kayak to the backside, where the river is
Excellent video and thanks for the effort to produce and post it. I'm getting to the stage that the effort of loading a kayak, fishing, loading back up, etc. is simply more than I want to do and am focusing more on wading, walking, and this style of fishing. Very interesting to watch your change locations, lures, tactics, and adjust.
Great video. Fish there all the time. Got snagged at all the same spots. Lol. And I usually fish those same spots on the Southside and get a few snook. Never seen anyone kayak fish where those boats were. Other than slack tide the current will be worse than Montauk point. So I stick to the shore. But I e been out there with a guide and the big reds stack up in that spot.
Great video. Luv to see the public access to the water. Beautiful water color. Some tough conditions to deal with. I thought the gear you were using was perfect for those locations etc. But, maybe even heavier gear would allow you to get a good hook set, turn the fish and gain some control over it. Maybe lol.
Next time go all the way to the jetty. As someone who goes to sebby weekly it’s cool to see it through a newcomers perspective. FYI the north side is where it’s at.
Pretty work. Inlets always seem to be boom or bust. Most of the time, they are a nightmare because of snags and the lack of feel in the current. Then every once in awhile, the fish are so thick (rockfish and blues) that it is easy picking. Nice effort to scratch out those snook on a rough day.
That was pretty cool to watch man. Somehow I've never seen this vid from you but I just got back from a super rough trip to Sebastian, so it was cool to see your take on the area. It's a pretty wild spot! With the mullet run going on right now, I've never seen such a wild place in my life. That pier gets absolutely ridiculous
On the outgoing tide the predator fish move to the other side of the jetti and sit in the slack water waiting to pounce on stuff coming around the corner
Have you ever considered hosting group fishing trips for subscribers? There a spot recently that I found in a harbor that leads out to the Gulf. It looks like a really good area to launch a yak with PLENTY of structures to hit. Tons of docked cargo ships etc. Ill share the coordinates to the spots if you'd like.
I have a trip coming up and can’t wait. Going to explore the inlet and all over the river for 5 days straight. Great video, has me pumped! Keep them coming.
Hey I was fishing the south side for my first time and some tarpon came through this am a little west. I didn’t hook up, didn’t know what to use as I’m visiting/ figuring out also. It was sweet ,good luck
Somebody has been listening to Hook Shots podcast methinks. Lol... Yo! Ryan Fee is the man and all, but I don't know why Cermele is tripping on Fee spending a few days in a rental car. Isn't that what we do? I did ten days in a minivan down there last year. From Mosquito Lagoon to the keys and back up through the Glades. And of course there are the trips to The Ditch, Narragansett, Montauk, etc... I'm sayin' that's what we do! Road trip to fishing spots and live out of a car. Now if only I could catch fish too. I walk in the shadows of giants. You guys are all so impressive and inspirational. Good shit Rich.
What I'm learning here is not to bring a ton of tackle. I always end up carrying 2-3 rods and a giant backpack, enough stuff to live on a deserted island lol. 1 rod/1reel small backpack+water and snack.
i fished Sabatian for the first time last month..I couldn't get locked up..nada when i was there the boats in the channel were using live bait and slaying the reds
No reason to launch the kayak bring your surf casting gear out there and you can reach every square inch of that inlet. Use a tail wind to your advantage if possible and heavy (2-4oz) swimbaits and bucktails.
That bird poop rock is a great spot lots of snook and jacks stack up around that rock facing the current. They love to eat schools of mojarras that cruise the rocks there. Silver spoon works well.
Hey man how do those corkers work on the jetties?? I’ve always had problems eating my heiny on out jetty here and was considering getting a set of them so I can get more rock fishing in
I have the Korker Buckskin Boots on in this video but personnally I like the Korker Rock Traxx Strap on's which I'll put over these boots especially if I'm fishing the toughest of the tough surf casting rocky coasts like Montauk. But Ive used just these boots and with the carbide or metal studs for walking on rocks from Florida to New England and they get the job done and keep me safe. Definitely recommend.
Nice lures. Try out Lures here in Hawaii, fair price, extremely beautiful yet simple. I got friends on both coasts, fresh and saltwater slaying with local made lures here. Big Island Baits, Campania Lures & Mark White Lures
If that’s Sebastian inlet try the wonder bread swimshad on the opposite side caught a keeper red fish fishing towards the beach. Or go to the end of the pier most of the other you tubers catch keepers towards the ocean front
FishAholic Fishing alright man! It’s an awesome fishery a lot of those snook can be caught on an artificial and it’s really not that difficult once you figure them out and you got the hang of them pretty quickly, they really love olive colored paddle tails and just about any color diving plug that’s a basic color, and any flair hawk jig will do fish the jig the same way as the paddle tails slow roll it on the bottom just above the rocks! and depending what tide it is let the tide take the bait with the current as you’re reeling! I’ve always had better luck on an outgoing tide but it’s all according to which spot you’re at there! I typical catch the most snook on the south side around the south jetty and around those mangroves you were at on the north side on a flood tide! Or in the swimming area on the north side at night! I’ll dm you on Instagram about my personal spots I’d recommend you take the yak! I’m glad I could help the OG!
Blake Canada I know Sebastian can exceptional but I rarely do good unless I fish the kayak north the inlet. Maybe I just haven’t been doing it right though
@@blakecanada5700 Both my sons have grown up and went into the Marines, so I have no one to fish with. Been to Sebastian twice...once on the jetty and one time with my bay-boat, but could not find a fish. lol Sure like to hook-up with someone in that area
The Hearing Dock I’ll be back down there during the summer for the tarpon along the beaches and when the female snook are on the beach, we’d have to go hook up on some!
Watching all of these florida videos is making me want to drive down there for a weekend 🤤 things in delaware are much cooler right now. PS i LOVE opening with those establishing shots of the area 🔥
Stephen Husak You got all that from my comment. Where I’ve been, and what I have and haven’t done. I’m older and all broken up. So jokingly I made the comment. Can you dig it.
What kind of people would give you a thumbs down? If I could, I’d give you 10 thumbs up. 99% of TH-camrs just show themselves reeling fish in after fish in after fish in... There's a million jigheads lodged in the rocks on the bottom of Sebastian inlet. Only half of 'em were mine.
Theres a million hooks with weights, half of those are mine too!
The other half million jigheads and half million hooks with weights are all mine
Sebastian was my Grandfather's favorite place to spend his weekends. I used to go there with him when I was a kid. Always loved it there.
Really appreciate showing the harder parts of fishing. Most of surf and shore fishing is getting snagged and looking like a drifter.
haha I like to because its not just about the end goal it is the journey to!
Thanks for making realistic fishing videos
I grew up fishing SE FL. mainly Ft. Pierce & Jensen, now I'm up here fishing your old grounds, Lake Hopatcong and the shore. night time docks and bridges during the last and first hour of tide with a near full moon worked well for me. good luck.
In sebastian you hit the middle and drift back baits for big snook reds and tarpon
Sebastian is an awesome area to fish. You should bring your kayak and put in at Long Point Park about a mile north of the inlet. Lots of nice mangroves and stuff to explore. Tight lines!!
This is my home waters- very strong current in the inlet. Monster snook there!
Monster snook and reds use to catch them and hook Goliath’s all the time on the inlet
I love Sebastian Inlet!!!! Monster fish there!

Nice fish catch keep up the good work
Rod and outfit combo looking good
Snook fishing is so exciting!!
I live in VLE, on the border of Sebastian. I'm just starting to fish around here.
Hey man next time you go fish down there I’d recommend fishing to the right on the jetis on the beach for big snook, jack and reds
what's important is to capitalize the importance of the Tides and Sun. That information takes experience.
Fishing weighted in Sebastian is always tricky for the rocks and ropes and lines. The pier and the jetty are the best options. Or you can go with your kayak to the backside, where the river is
Cool thanks for the intel 🤙🏻

4:25 me and my friends jump off this rock lol, now I gotta snorkel down there and get your lure
Great video. Fish there all the time. Got snagged at all the same spots. Lol. And I usually fish those same spots on the Southside and get a few snook. Got my new FishAholic hat in the mail today. Thanks again keep up the good work
That boat is Captain Glyn Austin with Sebastian inshore fishing... Great guy
I like how you show your snags. Happens to all fisherman but you never see it in TH-cam videos. Struggles of an angler
The struggle is real in areas like this with high fishing pressure and a lot of rocks. Luckily I only lost one lure this day.
Great video. Luv to see the public access to the water. Beautiful water color. Some tough conditions to deal with. I thought the gear you were using was perfect for those locations etc. But, maybe even heavier gear would allow you to get a good hook set, turn the fish and gain some control over it. Maybe lol.

What ?! Lol

What kind of Brand and Model are the shoes that you’re wearing? Looks like their prefect for Jetty fishing on the rocks.
I wish that I knew you were down here. I would have showed you around. One North Jersey guy to another!
I fish a bird shit rock in Montauk. It's just south of north bar. The cormorants shit it down daily.

I’m in Vero just Down the rd, great video
That's cool that you are trying new water and you're smashing those fish with your swimbait🔥🎣.
I have a trip coming up and can’t wait. Going to explore the inlet and all over the river for 5 days straight. Great video, has me pumped! Keep them coming.
Awesome Danny good Luck!!
The rod matches the water! LOL

hey i love in sebastian great fishing
What jig had hooks do you use for your soft plastic swimbaits also what swimbait did you use to fish
Your fishing rod is best
Would love to catch snook. That would be the first fish I target if I went down to Florida

Good job bro, I am from Indonesia always support your content
Beautiful fish 💝
in my fishing histori on that spot, you can use a spoon metal jig,
castspiner speed. i belived to many predator at thats spot cast
Very nice catch
love the snook action dude I really want to fish for them sometime. Snook and tarpon are pretty high on my list right now.
i fished Sabatian for the first time last month..I couldn't get locked up..nada
when i was there the boats in the channel were using live bait and slaying the reds
Am headed there the first of Apirl any tips
Are snook any good to eat?
I always fish the inside. Way to crazy at the end of the north jetty, been on bird shit rock plenty.
Great video especially last catch :) right between the walls :)

what is your soft plastic lure ( green ayu) ? thnx
You have to come to Puerto Rico.
Rule #1 of fishing Sebastian Inlet....bring A LOT of tackle. You are going to get snagged.
Nice sook👍
Great video dude!
I love to watch ur video big fan brother i from India goa state love to fishing
Why not pick you up a small cheap bay boat like skinner does cost bout half your hobbie just curious

Give Joey antonelli a shout.,,guy crushes it at Sebastian inlet
Sick vid
Nice Video Sir 👍😀
Guys anybody know what is the situation in NY ?? Because I went for fishing 5 times and didn’t catch anything!
Nice Video 🤩
You should try hold over striper fishing that would be a great video
Iguanas might work. But I think crevalle and barracuda might still work better!
If that’s Sebastian inlet try the wonder bread swimshad on the opposite side caught a keeper red fish fishing towards the beach. Or go to the end of the pier most of the other you tubers catch keepers towards the ocean front
Plz your fishing rod name and order link plz
Go EEAASSYY on those rocks😆 I had to pay $3500 and wait 3 months to see my smile after those rocks pulled me in close....for a selfie😉
O man that sounds painful if mean you fell....
Surprisingly it didn't hurt..lol..I stood up..grabbed my rod..and kept fishing 😅
wat fish are in that section
badass video man !
Do you live in montauk or Florida?

I live in Montauk in the spring summer and fall
Cool vid man
I don't know if fishing the mouth of the inlet on a kayak is a good idea
That’s what I call that rock
Good fhising
Nice grind. Kayak may be sketch .Auto like always.😎
Watching all of these florida videos is making me want to drive down there for a weekend 🤤 things in delaware are much cooler right now. PS i LOVE opening with those establishing shots of the area 🔥
Man!!! You make me a nervous wreck on those rocks. I used to be able to hit and bounce. Enjoy the video. #oldpeopleworry
Haha 😆 all the years rock hopping Montauk this isn’t much but definitely would not want to fall on those sharp coral rocks.
You ve never surf fished in the northeast have you? This is nothing
Stephen Husak You got all that from my comment. Where I’ve been, and what I have and haven’t done. I’m older and all broken up. So jokingly I made the comment. Can you dig it.
Niiiice
Let’s go
Winter wind is killing ya......
Mantap bro
A lot of snags, that's really makes me depressed and a little bit angry. Greetings from Egypt 🇪🇬
When your fishing or watching him break off?
@@finnafishfl
When fishing of course. and even when watching someone fishing 🎣.
Is it legal to fish in the rocks over her in Los Angeles California you need to buy a fishing license to fishing in the rocks
Bird s*** rock. Snag s*** rock. just s***!!!!
