I grew up fishing this spot. If you can remember there are two ship docking areas. If you sink a live shrimp or mullet up in the corners of those cut-ins, you'll likely snag some doormat flounder. If you fish around those three big pylons, you'll find tripletail, snook, snapper, etc.
Great video. Luv being there with you on the water trolling patterns to find fish. Saltwater fishing is so awesome in that you can never predict what’s going to eat your bait. Thanks much
The picture quality is amazing really gives you a deep perspective Fort Pierce is Awesome Man you can catch pretty much everything out there oh and I got a fish a holic sticker coming
You should come over to South Africa in St.Lucia and fish there. There are sharks, shad, bone fish, blacktails, redfish and my personal favorite "kob" or in Afrikaans it is kabeljou. They are realy fun on light tackle and there is also allot of barracutas and mackerels.
Been watching you for years and just realized I’m not subscribed. Just subbed and put the notification bell on. Keep up the awesome work and channel bro
Hi! I have been fishing on the jetty. Caught a couple of keeper Sheepshead and a couple of Margate. Wish I had a kayak. I am a fishing grandmother with my own fishing cart! Love your channel!❤️
I was born and raised in Fort Pierce we have the best fishing around take your kayak and go a little bit north of the South Bridge lots of flats lots of fish just a suggestion from a 60 year old fisherman from Fort Pierce great videos
That was an awesome slam. Really enjoyed the action. That Blue is calling you back up here 😂 maybe the stripers will come early. Blues are so unpredictable however. Good one, Rich!
I really love all your videos.. Also those lures and softbait.. I am begining to getting into fishing, just got my cheap rod and reel.. 😊... From Phillipines...
Weird question, but what type of gloves are you wearing for your bright sunny day videos? I’m starting to get hands like catcher’s mitts and could do for some protection. Thanks!
Thanks and sounds good I should be heading back north sometime next month shoot me an email and we'll if we can put something together. fishaholictv@gmail.com
I enjoy your videos very much and subscribed. I observed that you strip line from your drag sometimes when you are landing a fish. Are you doing that to get more video footage or is there some technique behind this? Thanks again for the videos.
Hey man. First off, great vids. Keep’em coming! Do you have artificial lures that are specifically made for saltwater or are you using largemouth bass lures?
Love your videos. Very informative and enjoyable Quick question; have you done a Kayak build video yet? If you have not, can you? If you did, can you point me to it? Looks like your kayak is outfitted with just the right balance of equipment. Thanks!
It sure was a good day on the water. So I am interested in buying a new spinning reel, and you have been using the tsunami spinning reels for a few years now. The shield and now the evict. Can you tell me what is the difference between the two reels. Maybe on your next video, you can explain the difference and which one you prefer. Take care. We down in Cali.
I believe the shield has a water resistant body so it might be better for bank fishing or surf fishing but I like the drag better on the evict and it’s more comfortable
I notice in your other videos calling these "robins" junk fish. I caught them in NZL and ate them - they were quite prized because the flesh was much less fishy than other fish - a fact most people (except hard core anglers) prefer. Similarly with Orange Roughy. It's rated among the most prized fish specifically due to the lack of that strong fishy odour. Try eating one (well, maybe 2-3 because the filets are small). I'd be interested in your view.
I have completely quit using treble hooks. The older I get the worse I feel about the damage they cause. I replace all my lures with single hooks and even bend down the tang. Otherwise I still love to fish.
Thanks for your videos!!! I enjoy them a lot as I recover from triple bypass.

Nice array of species, it would be cool to see one of those big tarpon pulling your kayak around the inlet.
Where r ya putting in at?
@@lfaulk36 I don’t know what you’re saying.
What I'm saying is where did you put the boat in at? Like what boat ramp did you leave or depart from?
@@lfaulk36 Somewhere in Ft. Pierce, FL.
@@lfaulk36 You should comment where the boat ramp was at. Maybe he could tell you.

Rich if you are coming home in April I will have the boat in the lake Hopatcong for some crappie.
Good fishing! If you're ever around Beaufort, SC I could show you some spots for redfish.

Great videos, are you coming to any of the outdoor or saltwater water expos up north
Thanks Doug! Wish I could but i think I’m staying down here in Florida till late March
@@FishAholicTV I dont blame you brother stay warm and keep crushing those fish.
You can fix your ringer by taking off the top of the reel and putting the spring back on the latch. I don’t know if that was the problem or not🤷🏼♂️
Ahh this brings back so many memories fishing off that catwalk under the south bridge
I think there making a new one and it’s even longer and a little lower to the water.
How was the current ? I’m gonna be out there next week and was going to bring the kayak. Just don’t wanna get stuck in a crazy current.
Rich did that sea robin follow you down from the south shore of Long Island?
species fishing is always awesome... nice

How do you connect your leader to your main line specifically for this light tackle spinning setup?

Isn’t it turning basin on the other side of that bridge ?
Hey Rich , you finally got yourself a pair of needle nose pliers. LOL
Great smorgasbord.Too bad you were not ready for the tarpon bite.
What color shad did you use?
Lmao ive never seen a sheep head hit a lure
Same dude. I have seen some guys catch em on flys which seems like that would be extremely hard.

Is this north or south of the inlet? Where do you put in?
I dropped in north of the north causeway bridge don’t know the name of the launch area. But I use this app called GoPaddling to find all my launches.

I am hooked ...

If you wanted one of those tarpon, you should’ve used that lady fish as live bait 👍🏼
Haha ok cool I’ll try that for next time. That would be killer 😆
Damn that's a good day of fishing for sure, nice man🎣🔥Imagind if you did hook up a Tarpon, the reel will be like zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz🔥
