Give credit where credit is due - the brahmins held on to the knowledge, passed on to many generations and thus saving the culture, ethics, moral preaching and giving us the opportunity to understand our history.

@@chandra_haswhy do you all always think of casteism. Bramhins did do bias, so happend in other castes and subcaste as well. As the society is changing, bramhins are also making a change. Yes that they are more stricter towards caste based marriages, and also try to play monopoly in certain places such as temples which is one of the ways they can stay relevant in society, but bias towards other are reducing. Modern bramhin caste children learn, study,go and stay with various other people which don't mostly bother their parents. Stop blaming them for everything. People have recieved bias then the way to revenge is a bias or force to change perspective which is already happening. Killing them or taking their right to live just because they are bramhins is not a right thing . Jai Sri Ram

      🐟 20. BRĀHMAṆA (THE PRIESTHOOD):
      THE PRIESTHOOD DEFINED:
A PRIEST (“brāhmaṇa”, in Sanskrit) is defined as a man who promulgates teachings and performs rituals, on behalf of a particular religious or metaphysical tradition. He should possess all saintly qualities, such as cleanliness (which is, as they say, “next to godliness”), peacefulness, austerity, intelligence, wisdom, renunciation, tolerance, patience, humility, and of course, moral uprightness and religiosity. This does not imply that a priest must possess those virtues to a perfect extent, but he ought to have each quality to at least a reasonably-high degree.
Even if a man seems to be a genuine priest superficially, if he is severely lacking in even one of the clerical qualities, he cannot rightly be called a “priest”. Therefore, a dumb cleric or a dirty cleric does not, by definition, exist. As explained in the previous chapter, priests (more precisely, World Teachers) are the authoritative heads of society, thus virtue is paramount, so be wary of the multitude of PHONY “priests” in the world!
N.B. In this chapter, and in this book, the terms “priest”, “spiritual master”, “(genuine) spiritual teacher”, “World Teacher”, “guru/jagadguru”, “brāhmaṇa”, “Avatāra/Avatar”, “Prophet”, “clergy”, and “cleric”, are fundamentally SYNONYMOUS, for they all refer to those excruciatingly-scarce men, who both possess the priestly qualities, and serve their communities in the role of teachers of authentic religion and morality.
      THE ROLE OF A PRIEST:
As noted in the previous chapter, priests constitute the leadership of humanity, and are responsible for its moral and spiritual development. It is crucial to note that a priest is not required to teach just anyone and everyone in his community. Traditionally, priests (at least those who are worthy of the designation) were commissioned to teach only two groups of MALES: the rulers of society (see the following chapter vis-à-vis the monarchy), and monastics (normally boys and/or adolescents, known as “śiṣya”, in Sanskrit) in his home-school (“gurukulam”, in Sanskrit).
Furthermore, it is imperative that priests assess the qualifications of each prospective disciple, such as the boy’s/man’s level of intelligence, his sincerity, and humility, in order to ascertain his suitability as a student. As Lord Jesus Christ once so rightly suggested, one should desist giving what is holy to dogs (that is, those who are hostile to righteous precepts). ULTIMATELY, the spiritual master is discerning which of his disciples will succeed him as the head of his teaching ministry. In other words, the teacher is hoping to find that young man amongst his pupils, who most fully embodies the aforementioned brahminical (that is, priestly) attributes, so that his valuable lessons are not forever lost to humanity.
A perfect analogy for why a priest should teach only the two aforementioned groups of males, is with any world-class musician. Arguably the greatest pianist in history was Franz Liszt Ferenc, a Hungarian virtuoso, who lived in the nineteenth century. Quite coincidentally, Liszt became ordained in the Catholic Church in his fifties. Not only did Abbé Liszt tutor other concert pianists, but, just like priests, he did so at no monetary charge whatsoever. If he had taught novice musicians, he would have misused his valuable time, because his advanced students could have easily taught beginners (or could have taught even the TEACHERS of those novices). Therefore, if one happens to witness a (supposed) priest who regularly instructs any group of persons other than the aforementioned two groups of males, it is absolutely certain that he is a fraud.

Grahasthan that is a family man is highly regarded and is no where less to a sanyasi according to our dharma sutras. I would ask people to follow the shankaracharya of sringeri. Basically when somebody is doing puja in temples, he should be madi ( bathed, no touching anybody) until the completion of rituals. But the dominant land owning class along with brahmins systematically made the shudras which means peasants and artisans as lower class by creating may histories on them. The classic example I would say is Bengali jati formation 😂😂😂. Seriously I was laughing reading about it as a Brahmin myself 😂. In this Full video he explained the scripture tree. So what ever we get confusion the higher shastra should be taken. The Supreme is vedas. We should follow it. Basically brother if you have money you'll be respected anywhere also education which gives you knowledge. The varna is different but taking it to saying somebody has neech is high level of non sense. We all are from paramathama and the end is we merge into paramathma.
Just to add, our parents will not even touch us until puja is done. Even the clothes are kept separated and maintained no body touch it. Even the family members. It's high time we all unite to protect the country in the name of indians. Jai hind brother.

You are yourself explaining that varnas are not by birth but by actions and education, and then you yourself are making a mistake in the case of brahmins not allowing entry to shudras in the temples. You must understand that just like brahmins were not by birth, similarly shudras were also not by birth.
Certain people, even brahmin varna people, when they committed certain crimes or wrong acts, were downgraded to the shudra category. And sometimes, in cases of very extreme crimes, 3 to 6 generations of such people were outcaste and considered untouchables for pious people. It was these untouchables, which were not allowed entry into certain temples because of their wrong acts, not all shudras.
Even in today's times, Ranbir Kapoor was not allowed entry into Mahakaal temple because he is a beef eater. 1400 years ago, such a person would be striped of his varna and considered an untouchable. It was not that brahmins were oppressing shudras as a whole. Even all shudra samsakaras from birth to marriage to funeral were also done by brahmins only. So how can you even think that all shudras were oppressed or kept out from temples? Obviously, they were not. It was only a certain few wrongdoers who were, and are even today kept out from certain temples. That's all. Rest is all evangelical propaganda.

My understanding is Brahmin is not a caste. It is an elevation in human to the knowledge of knowing who is Brahman or god. By birth some of them get to know the divine through their parents and they become Brahmin. However those who didn’t get that birth should strive to reach that level. Suppose if someone born in Brahmin family didn’t elevate to that level they will take another birth at lower level. As you think you become.

One day, my sister questioned her that you show your caste in front of us always. What about eating outside(hotels), there you don't know who the cooking person is and his caste. Not able to answer, ran away.
One day, the family vanished from society in midnight. Because we raised one question on her personal family life in public. Not able to answer. Other society members too started questioning about same.
Later on we came to know one more important point, why she used to show her caste in front of us, that one of society member told her that you being brahmin, but not really looking like Brahmin. And that family whom you say are not Brahmin, are actually looking like Brahmins only. They are more Brahmin than you. She got angered with words and started maligning our family in society. And she was doing this, since the moment she came to stay in our society.
See how the Almighty punished her. Treat everyone equally.

I have a question, plz don't ignore and answer it.
You said that , it is clearly mentioned in Vedas that a sudra who has attained Vedic
knowledge is a brahmin. But in Sri Guru charitra of dattatray, there is an instance where Sri Guru calls a lower caste person makes him take bath and asks one of his disciple to draw 7 lines with bhasma on that outcaste person after that sriguru asks him to tell each of his birth and once that person goes to his last janma of Brahmin he attains Vedic knowledge and recits Vedas, then he starts pestering sriguru to accept him in Brahmin caste as he attained Vedic knowledge, but sriguru tries to. Make him understand that a person becomes Brahmin only if he takes birth with a new body, he even went on to explain that vasistha maharshi accepted his wife arundhati only after he turned down her body certain times then after taking new body then he accepts her as his wife.
Now I request you to plz go go through those and clarify my doubts.
Sri Guru charitra is dattatreya 's charitra, and it paved path for natha sampradaya.
So why is there opposites like these.
These are the genuine doubts , expecting you to answer

As it speaks the truth... the Brahmins are doing their part as of now todate not sure if that will continue...for long but for every prayer that a brahmin do the end of prayer is srave Jana sukhino bhavanthu.... And this is part of every Pooja that a brahmin does ...it's irony that what ever you do to them ...he still prayes for every one ... respect is all they deserve... dhramo rakshathi rakshitha

As we go on searching why dronacharya rejected ekalavya .... Dronacharya's sense of vision towards ekalavya had made guru drona to see future that one or the other day ekalavya will become opposite.... So he asked thumb as gurudakshina only becz even after rejection he continued to learn secretly..... And coming towards goutama Rishi and satyakama jabali Goutam guru ji accepted due to being courageous and pure frm intention..... Here we see a true Brahmana is the one who sees future.... Obviously brahmana community shows to be both brighter and darker side.... I am from the OBC caste and agree that anyone with a Nair, Menon name at the end of their names is totally wrong. I also think it should be criminalized. Imagine Whites in the USA having names like “John Slave Owner '' or “Jack Torturer of Blacks” which is exactly the same as Shyam Menon; except the Menons were more brutal to the OBCs than the Whites towards the Blacks. Just as the Whites of the USA have moved on, Indians who are descendants of abusers of other castes need to move on to realities.
However the caste system is part of Hinduism but as a labor division not an avenue for discrimination. It got messed up over time but you cannot say things are not getting better in modern India. The current Indian cabinet has a record of 27 ministers from OBC. From my experience as a professional engineer and professor, I know that specialization in jobs has advantages. I still do wiring contracts and believe me every turn of a screw has a skill and failures of projects will happen if they are not turned properly.
Hinduism did have a problem of castes disrespecting each other which started 2500 years ago which is why Buddhism and Jainism started to fight this trend. I believe India is a holy land and God let the invaders conquer India to solve the issue just as Parashurama killed 21 generations of warrior people during the previous time this caste egoism happened. About 21 generations of the tormenting caste were killed off by the invading Muslims and Christians. These Muslim and Christian conquerors needed the people who produced food, clothes, machines and artifacts for the country or else it would have been an unprofitable venture for them.
There is no such thing as lower or higher caste. Ignorance is a bane for humanity. For example, most terrorists have no clue why they committed their crimes. A Shudra can reach the ultimate goal of human life which is to realize we are God ourselves. Examples of Shudras who did it are Valmiki and Vyasa, the authors of the Ramayana and Mahabharata respectively. If you go to research the backgrounds of the 1000 greatest sages of Hinduism, most are from the Shudra caste. It is simple, only the poor put in the necessary efforts to reach greatness.
Each person doing the best they possibly can in their chosen field is itself a worship to God. The ultimate farmhand who tends the crops with love, the ultimate machine maker or trader, the ultimate warrior and the ultimate teacher about Brahman. In the original caste system, the other castes need not pray, they just achieve as much as Michael Jordan plays basketball or Usain Bolt runs the 100 m. In the back of their minds they know the prayers for the society are being taken care of by the Brahmins.

you are right in saying these invaders came as an act of god although the invaders had their own brutality and ideology that have further corrupted the soil today. Swami Vivekananda said something similar to your line of reasoning - he uses the words "wrath of God" in his writings. He said India was suffering from collective papa karma (mistakes made by some of our ancestors due to the emergence of Kali Yuga) and that majority of people today were deeply stuck in tamas guna (while pretending to think they are closer to sattva).
Swami wanted Indians to move towards Rajas guna collectively and this is why he encouraged a more practical outlook rather than focus too much on spiritual evolution. He wanted us to grow first physically and mentally (he said play football before you pick up the Gita) and then he said the strength will come to move towards spirituality and Dharma which is the true purpose of India as a nation. He had high dreams and deep love for India and Hinduism but unfortunately his criticism of the wrong beliefs in Hindu culture (the wrongs that have happened in society) have not been understood by the Hindus themselves. I am saying this as a Hindu who cares about the religion and country and the current state of things.

@@AshwinSriram Vivekananda said something like (I did paraphrase it a lot): When mantras gave people all they needed, Brahmins were the most powerful humans, when the Brahmins forgot their mantras, the Ksytriyas took over for a long period of history. When fighting stops due to the increasingly destructive power of weapons, the Viashayas and Shudras will be the most powerful; imagine you are going to fight with a person with the assured knowledge that both of you will die, will you choose to fight? Today the Viashya businessmen are the most powerful. When computers take over the world, the Sudras who can follow instructions of the computers the best will be the most powerful on earth.

Why not ask the question -- who is a Shudra? Why are Brahmins made to feel apologetic and define themselves in negative statements. A Brahmin is not born a Brahmin. DUH. By that logic, a Shudra is not born a Shudra. Why then is a person born to a Shudra mother? There is a diff between JAti and Varna and most folks seem to forget that all the injunctions in dharma shastras are for people who are BORN as Brahmins and not for Shudras who lead a Brahmanical life.

I am a tamil speaking South African, a Hindu (for want of a better term) and a Brahmin by birth. All my life I have been doing what my Grandfather and grandmother instilled in me, and that is to earn this title through my actions and my deeds. We are meant to be the custodians of Dharmic Knowledge, we are meant to teac h it to whoever desires to learn, we are meant to always Assist those in need. In South Africa, this thing called cast just does not exist among hindus. Sadly, very few strive toward the ideal of being a brahmana. It is just too much hard work requiring much, much discipline. Bharat must revive the gurukul education system and transform what it is to be Brahmana to its original form and meaning. The Brahmins should each take at least a 108 so called Dalits and Shudras, teach them and invest on them the sacred Thread and declare them brahmanas. imagine what such an act would do for Sanatana Dharma,. These new true Bhrahmanas would then become our first m issionaries whose task it would be is to spread the true meaning of aour dharma, dispel the stupid interpretations of our very large corpus of written work, and stop the christians nd muslims in their tracks by simply educating them. change comes from within

Bro i am brahmin by birth cause my parents and their parents are brahmin but i dont wear any punal or dont go to temple that much. I used to eat meat in the past now after vedhadri maharisi i am not doing it any more. But the things i saw in youtube doubt me about veda and brahmins. They say some aryans or sefigrass people only male came from there and came through iran and so many place and took stories or puranas on thier way and made vedas and also added that brahmins are the top caste in India. And they added discrimination but I am kinda believed it u see i like advaita vedanta... Agam bramasmi. But since as per the above claim utubers said that veda itself is stolen thing I kinda got into panic mode and kinda gone into deperession. Ur videos kind of help to a certain degree and give little bit of a relief that we all are brahmins if we act as per that and a brahmin can become a non brahmin if he didnt do good for others. Anyway I dont represent me as a brahmin anyway but my family was termed like that, and as hitler started hate agains jews in germany. In our country such thing shouldnt happen I hope so, If it happens that might be god wish. In most of the cinemas brahmins are casted as a crooked or bad person. So sometimes I am ashammed to call myself as brahmins with my friends, and I say I am human beings and I follow vedathiri maharishi and advaita vedanta. And as per that not only me we all are brahmans means we all are gods. We dont know about it because we were blinded by maya. I hope our vedas are real because advaita vedanda is all about vedas. And I hope karma will be real. Dont know which is true and which is false. Religion is so confusing to be honest. But still I dont want to be a athiest as well because a creator may be there I guess, not sure. May be there or may be big bang or evolution of species. Conculsion I am still confused but thanks for the video. If I offended any religion or any invidiual by the above comment I didnt intended to hurt anyone i am just confused. I can wirte more than this, But I would like to stop now thank you. All the best with ur videos.

In reality which is present times bramhins treeat others as sudras.. I heard many times these words by myself.. In my hometown there are priests in temples who dont even offer fruits if they are given by people other than bramhins.. Doing these they cannot expect respect from others.. Leave the bc, sc st they dont give minimum respect to other oc people.. Doing these definitely will affect the unity of hindus..this will weakken the trust of devotee directly.. By doing all these dirty deeds brahmins cannot expect dignity or respect from other hindus.. This discrimination also gives chance to other religions to target hinduism.. Annamayya,, adi sankarcharya, basavacharya , madhvacharya did a lot to erase this discrimination but till now many bramhins are doing these.. Charging huge money for every thing encashing the fear of hindus is the most dirtiest thing they can do.. So first brahmins correct ur perspective.. Just by birth respect wont be given. It should be earned..

Tell me which country doesn't have caste. You are either dreaming or simply closing your eyes. All countries retain their caste system. Look closely
