On a lonely Friday evening in Bangalore, with nothing to do and bored of movies, hating and loving solitude, with no purpose in life. All these on one side and a notification from Projecr Shivoham!!

      😇अहिंसा परमो धर्म 😇
      ahiṃsā paramo dharma
(“non-harm is the HIGHEST religious principle” or “non-violence is the GREATEST law”).
Therefore, only a strict VEGAN can claim to be an adherent of the eternal religion (sanātana dharma).🌱

My friend go inward and know that no one has found happiness outside of one's own self. This is the only truth. Study of Upanishads is the only way. I am speaking from my experience of study for 15 years. You do not need to know sanskrit nor have to go to any teacher. Just use the resources you have.

A really good explanation of Upanishads is given in a serial called "Upanishad Ganga" . there you will understand all of the core philosophies of Hinduism better . A good source to understand what is meant by turiya or atman is the lecture of "swami sarvapriyananda" titled "Swami Sarvapriyananda at IITK - "Who Am I?" according to Mandukya Upanishad". The real meaning of dharma and atman etc, all other concepts can be understood by Acharya Prashant. All of the above-mentioned lectures serials etc are available for free on TH-cam, understand them and then only you will understand what vedant really is.

that was a magnificent documentary sir , even today , nobody knows all of the nuances in our philosophy and that there were great mahatmas like Pingala , Panini , Bhaskaracharya , Brahmagupta and the logical algorithms used in Sangeetham and Sanskrit literature. all we are taught in school is that "aryabhatta invented zero" ,all people want to do is "water has memory" and "quantum physics in vedanta" , your the only person who is bringing out fact for fact , line by line , and showing the truth in our scriptures as it is , one thing i would disagree with you is that , thought the rishis made the theory of creation of the universe using their excellent logic and reasoning and intuitional power (i referred swami tadatmanandas video regarding vedantas approach at creation of the universe) , big bang theory is a seperate thing altogether , we have evidence of the state of the universe before the big bang , but we dont have evidence of what happened before the big bang , hence all theories made on the same cannot be considered scientific and are highly speculative

In Newari Buddhism only so called upper caste Sakya can be Buddhist priest. This is still continuing. And No one talks about this. Everyone just blame Hindus only . They need to be exposed.

I can understand the time and effort you must have put in, to explain these I'm simple language - it is said that a sign of genius is to explain complex matters in simple language.
    You have achieved it.
The only discordant note I will strike is I have heard that Vedas were never written but passed by listening to them.
As the Upanishads are supposed to be at end chapter of the Vedas, I find it hard to accept that they were written.

      Sir
      Thanks.
I have heard from various Upanyasakars that
Vedas were never written but only taught orally as they depend on the sound, phonetics, modulation etc.
Hence, I wrote that Vedas were not written.
I have also heard that Upanishads are at the end portion of Vedas - Veda Andha - Vedanta.
      Sir,

Wonderfully explained the brief history of Upanishads.
The only thing I wanted to add - "Janaka" is not only "Rajashri" King who was father of Sita. But it was a tradition! In Valmiki Ramayan, there is a list of all the Janakas existed before him.
Hence not sure whether it was same Janaka who contributed to Upanishads.

the janak mentioned in the Upanishads is not Maa Sita's father, he is simply the king of Maithili kshetra. Janaka literally means father, the king is revered as a father in the Maithili kingdom that's why he is called Janaka.
