Just found your channel and watched all of your progress videos. It was unbelievable to see what you built in your backyard. Really looking forward to see the next vids. Thank you.
Quite the build mate! that's a big shunter!! very impressive and tidy looking boat... what's Vaka Draft going to be? and what will your displacement be at max draft?? Liters, kg's, tons, what ever... In all my Proas, I usually came to a payload that was around half my displacement at W.L. I wonder if on a 60 footer things get better... Of course to my hull weight, I add rig weight, rudders, half aka weight and half bridge deck. after all that, payload shrinks big time... Cool Stuff! just subbed. Keep Shunting, Balkan Shipyards
Very interesting build, I'm excited to see more. Is there any info on the design or what the general layout of the boat will be when complete? Obviously a big Pacific with a lee pod which isn't something we've really seen at this scale before. I've sailed a proa a handfull of times and I must say I find them as fascinating to sail as they are in theory and have tried my hand at a few concepts for bigger boats. The video I posted about Sidecar is by far my best video and one of the better performing proa sailing videos out there too which I never expected, and I hope your project can gain the audience that it deserves too!
Hi. Thanks for the encouragement. I will do a walk around video once it's in the water. Hopefully float about mid next year. Going off the Russell Brown concept. Sorry, I haven't got much to share as it's my own design and is a work in progress but I will do a plan up on next video to spread some light and make it a bit clearer.
Hi Dominic, I have been following your channel. I love you vids . The hatches will be weather tight with rubber seal. It's okay if they leak as the rudders are below so the water will run out. I will add a vid next time.
Awesome effort, really looking forward to seeing her in the water!

Cheers, thanks for the encouragement. I will be back into the building in the new year.
Legendary project right here, can't wait to see her finished!
Crazy work to get it out of the shed and around the house.
For a bit I didn't even know if we could get it out. There is only a couple of inches in it! I'm very relieved

Well done on all the progress so far, do you have a timeline for when you expect the boat to be completed?
Nice work.👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Amazing work !!
Thanks Steve
wow, very impressive build! love the squeezing it past the house!
I'm curious how you do your hatches? are they water tight?

@@deancameronproa8889 got it! thanks! how to make water tight DIY hatches is something I spend quite a bit of time thinking about
Невероятно. В интернете есть хотя бы эскизы вашего корабля?

Hi , 60 feet. I just subscribed to your channel. Great Proa action!
