In the video Spike is digging with the PBR guys, Mike and Zach again on Gopher Ridge. Randy is stuck in Savannah and Kenneth couldn’t make it. We found sixteen points in all. Four of those were 6000 to 9000 years old! Spike finally broke out of his slump and what a break it was! Again he found the best point of his life. He seems to do this every year lately. I remember my first arrowhead and my last even the ones that were broken. Great way to spend the day. If you know were to go. Great videos. Best piece I found was a Shoshone Knife 4 3/4, best time to catch up on your prayers looking for a arrowhead and I thank GOD our father and Jesus every time I find one. I sometimes imagine the native's that made those arrowheads examining their work before using them centuries ago , just as you are now . I know you guys find pieces but that would be so cool to find...the ancient gods are smiling down at you guys especially spike on his find❤️
Thanks! We find a lot of pottery but nothing even close to a whole vessel. I'm not sure how they fired their pottery but it was more than likely in a one time use kiln.

They 99.999999% have A sides and B sides lol just opinion of course and to me all have tops and bottoms. At 11:52 is A side in my opinion. But whichever side don’t matter the bottom line is that’s a stamped out killer. Gratz. That’s what it’s all about. All those hours of hunting and finding nothing for those moments.

We have found a couple side notched ground base points here in tn like the cache river point but here they are pitch black chert but made the same

How do you know where to dig???
How do you know where to dig? I've recently been creek walking and have found a few but wouldn't know much about digging on the ridge
The formula we like to use is "water + high flat ground = artifacts" or at least the possibility of artifacts.
@@HeartbreakerRelics Thanks! The creek only flows when it rains, it's s usually dry. But it has produced plenty of points.
I believe this would make a great show for history channel or discovery channel or A&E. Has anyone ever contacted them to run the idea past them.

Im a forager and sang digger. Seen a post on facebook marketplace for a shadowbox with points in it and other artifacts and stones for a hundred bucks. Wasn't about to take a chance buying it without knowing more about it. Ran across your videos on youtube while researching and haven't stopped watching. Yall are addictive. Is that like the workshop where they made just Arrowheads and tools or is that where they lived? Do you ever find jewelry or beads? My brother would find them on the river when the water was really low.
Where they made the Tennessee river larger well the Tellico lake larger they moved a lot of Native American graves, I won't even pick up a bead. That's just wrong what they did and I just wouldn't mess with anything.
This is a multi-cultural site. Different groups of people lived in this spot off and on over the millennia. We have found one bead and an ear spool.
