Latham Steel Door Condensation problems

This is a Latham high security steel door (ultra duty) having issues where condensation is forming on the door frame and I found there is little insulation within the frame. The door is spec’d to have a U-value: 1.99W/m²·K.

Lathams ultimately replaced the frame and door at their expense, upon checking where i cam the frame is now fully insulated… need to wait fir more cold weather to see the results.

Mate i have had nothing but trouble with these doors. Honestly think they are not worth what i paid for them.

as an European living in the UK I can't really understand how I haven't been able to find a thicker and better made door like they do in the EU. Do you have any suggestion?

Damn. I just bought 3 of these doors. Any recommendations what I should do prior to fitting to prevent this?

In my case it was just the frame; so look in the fixing holes / remove lock box and see if the insulation is present. Lathams did replace the whole unit in the end, hopefully yours should be ok.
