Hey nice job on the video. What’s the other drone app you you use other than. The Rx drone app? I just received this as a gift from my roommate. And I don’t want it to go straight up and disappear like all my other ones.

Approaching what my old Hubsan S501 could do, though the video looks like bowl full of Jello. Guess you still can't have everything in a $70.00 toy-grade drone. It punches pretty decently for its price point.
what drone would you recommend ? in the 100$ price range? I have my eyes on the JJRC X28 and the LYZRC L900 PRO. I have found out about banggood when I watched your x28 review and its under 1/3 of the price I would have to pay here in Denmark :) so thanks
Micahel thanks for watching... If you can spare a bit more in your budget, forget all those you mentioned and buy the L200 GPS Drone, it's by far the best out of all these cheap drones, has a very decent camera and more importantly stabilised gimbal and sd card dvr recording, not just wifi based that freezes up and cuts recording when it fails. Go check out my review on the L200 i done a few months back, cheers 🍻
@@PERTHWESTOZRC Thanks. The LYZRC L200 Pro Max with obstacle avoider? Of the two I mentioned, which would you choose? The L200 is almost double the price and this is first drone after the e88 pro that I have now
Yeah Fonzie these companies that make these inexpensive drones always seem to mislead their distance claims by manipulating the software to read high numbers to support their BS advertising of distance and range. This is not the first drone i have tested that has done this, so I like to show evidence in my videos of the "true" range they do. There are a few channels out there that go along with the "fake" telemetry and BS in their videos to gain Clicks and sales! I debunked one channel a couple years ago who claimed 1800m in their range test with zero evidence of google maps or even a FPV feed, they just filmed the TX LCD screen and raved on how far it went LOL. It is possible the drone could go even further if i pushed it forward more but I don't like flying blind once it's out of visual LOS. Only way to prove that it can go further would be to install a small 5.8ghz FPV vtx camera on the drone. 500m+ is pretty decent for a toy grade GPS drone like this though. Cheers for watching brother 🍻👍
@@PERTHWESTOZRC very fair reviews from you all the time ! Any one that claims they can see a drone at stupid distance are definitely BS ing . 🤣 But some people will actually believe it and that will definitely drive sells up. Have a great evening 👊🏼💥
@@PERTHWESTOZRC I've heard all drones that use wifi are considered toy grade and by that construct, my two drones are considered toy grade too. I still enjoy flying them though, especially my Spyder XL because it's so beefy, can be fast, goes decently far and has excellent take-off ability. But it's old and unfortunately impossible to even get parts for so I'm extra careful when I fly it. If I break a propeller, it's game over. I enjoy flying, just can't afford the DJI that I want. So, cheap drones suffice.
Geez man i don't think you could of tested in an area more prone to interference (ie towards a power station) I'm no expert on the subject, but made good common sense to me it would have interference......
Old Powerstation is abandoned and run down since the 1980's mate 😂 There was no interference, these wifi apps on cheap drones only are good for about 300m tops, cheers for watching

Awesome flying and testing, Dave! 😊

😂 I was thinking there was no way you could see that drone @ 1400m definitely not a true distance but still as you say for a toy grade it's okay

how is this "toy-grade"? all my rc toys did not work beyond 15m.
@@aquakey9834 it is toy grade as far as GPS drones are, it's under $100 and it's not djii quality that's for sure, but great for beginners
