Yes that's right Ryan, obviously the claim of 6500mah on this small lipo cell is a joke! 🤣 the flight time is quite impressive, definitely not worth it to buy the 1800mah with only 6mins flight time as replacements when you can buy these!
How do you charge the batteries? Connect to adaptor n plug it into the socket or computer or power bank? Which one is safe n better for battery health?
Probably the "6500 mah" are the real 1500 mah, and the "1800" ones are 750 or so (if you consider them weight - I checked some simple, plain batteries) And that explains why they claim that the drone fly 15 mins with *real* 1800 mah batteries * and as a note, maybe they put lighter batteries to comply to 250gr limit in most countries, I'm curious if the drone is over 250 with "6500" batteries...
Hey guys... I just got my E99 and I ran into a problem. I can't get my lithium batteries to charge. I'm using the li po usb cables it came with. When I plug it in, the red light comes on for less than a minute. And when I leave it to charge for an hour or two, the battery is still not charged when plugged into the drone, whose lights are blinking with low battery signal. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your input...
Unfortunately.. I can only buy 1800mah cuz I'm from Indonesian, and I can only go to the shop named Tokopedia app. and there only 1800mah that selling, Soo is it worth it to buy *two* e99 battery?
These charge off a micro usb cable which has a small board attached to the lipo, so you'd have to desolder the lipo and then add a normal 1s plug connecter to it to charge it on a hobby grade charger to find the true mah.
@@PERTHWESTOZRC Thats was what i was asking about,, i have some on the way, and have some from the original H16 drone, and some cheap so called 1800mah i will try to make a test when the so called 6500mah ;o) comes in,,
@@cmtwgrdk2748 Yep, just spudger the case apart. It would have helped to have weighed the 2 different cases as well. There is certainly more plastic in the supposedly 6800mah. (Smaller viewing window for a start.) Higher capacity batteries (or higher C-rated batteries) WILL have more active material in them and so weigh more but that generally means a proportionally bigger size as well. With the case apart you could drill a couple of holes to insert +/- Dupont jumper leads to contact the cell +/- terminals so you could charge/storage the cell properly. They certainly aren't going to last very long if left discharged or fully charged. That's the real problem with any toy that uses a proprietary connector - a nuisance to make up an adapter to connect to a proper charger. Plus the plastic cases and fancy connectors/charging port are just dead weight for the drone to haul around.
@@cmtwgrdk2748 If you're still curious, I measured the battery. The stock "1800" battery ir roughly about 400 mAh. That's probably why the drone costs $12 on AliX ;-)
@PERTHWESTOZRC bro I have a question. I have a e88 pro drone. So it came with only 1 battery so I ordered another 2. So I needed to extend the fly time so I ordered another 3 batteries. That battery comes with combo offer. 3 batteries with 3in1 charging cable. The 1st 3 batteries are 1800mah. The batteries I ordered from the combo offer are 2600mah. So can I use the same 3in1 charging cable for the 1st 3 batteries
@PERTHWESTOZRC Bro thank you for ur quick reply. I have subscribed ur channel. So then I can use know It will not bring any problem to the battery or the charging cable

Hi,
Can you please introduce a cheap fpv race drone for about $200 aud.
Thanks
Bjə
As you know, it is best to get one extra battery if possible but the new ones seem to work better. Nice job Dave.
Thanks for the information. Looking forward to seeing your next video!
Nearly doubling the flight time is crazy even though they are obviously not 6500mah they definitely are a higher capacity. Great test Dave!

It's unfair to say the 1800mah is too small, as right from the start, the battery was obviously faulty and already lost capacity.
You obviously can't read, I said the 6500mah is too small as it's the same size as the 1800mah.
🇮🇪 brilliant video sharing its magnificent drone flying
Very informative.. thanks 👍👍
Thanks for the hints
@@GordonMelsom thanks for watching 👍🏻
Nice information, thanks so much!
Thanks man, ill buy two
These check out at 2400- 2600mah~ on my smart charger.
Yep sounds about right
I got a pretty good deal on temu for an E99 drone with 3 batteries for only 6 dollars!

Yes its worth buying a couple because the flight time on the standard batteries is only around 6 to 7 mins
