This watch was the most recent added to my seiko collection .ive seen them a lot advertised but in person the dial caught my eye quickly ..and surprisingly comes with the rubber dive strap and bracelet for 550 USD
If you haven't tried the rubber strap yet I highly endorse it. I find it way better feeling than the bracelet. I used the bracelet in the colder weather but I've already switched it back to that strap.
@@WatcheswithDennis I have worn it with the rubber strap .however there is alot of strap tail left over because I have a smaller wrist so i rotate back and fourth with bracelet to rubber strap giving both options equal wear time
The 4R is bulletproof, the 6R should be, but my single example lasted about a year. I have this watch and believe it should last many years. The dial is amazing, the bezel is of course about a half minute off.......
Yeah I've heard from others, hit or miss on the bezel (par for the course, sadly, for Seiko nowadays). You are not the only person to tell me they've had more negative issues with the 6R reliability versus the 4R. Hopefully they do a revision and sort that out.
Good review 👍. I like that dial and the turtle case is brilliant, far more comfortable and wearable than a 45mm watch has any right to be. I understand your thoughts on the movement, but I have heard of problems with the 6r and they aren't that much more accurate, I think I would take the 4r and regulate it myself.
Interesting about the 6R, I did just focus on the baseline guarantee. I should open this one up and self-regulate I have all the equipment to do it. Maybe when I feel like opening my Orient up and I can do them both at the same time.
By and large I've come to accept the cyclops. It's just so BIG on the King Turtles given they decided to cover the Day indicator as well. I get why they did it, but I agree with you.
Agreed. That cyclops magnifier is such a hindrance to readability on the Mini Turtle that I passed on the last King Turtle. Wish this lack of a features was available on future King Turtles and not just this Limited Edition. Kool Kanji Day instead of Espanyol.
An eBay seller. A couple of them have it currently under $500. I went with luxwatch07 as they had 100% positive feedback and sell a lot of watches. I always get a bit nervous with eBay but given it was new I got all the box and materials.
@@WatcheswithDennis thanks I will probably try to get a discount on a brick and mortar that way i have peace of mind and can make sure the dial is aligned 🤣
@@frag4007 yes, I have heard some had the alignment issue on these models. Mine was okay (at list at 12 which is all I really care about) but you never know unless you can check ahead of time of course.

Good review and agree at 750 they should have used a 6R movement not a seiko 5 4R

Just bought one for less than 400 and i am happy!
Where? In store or online?
@craigriley9892 i bought from a legitimate ebay seller. It comes with a rubber strap as well so I hike, run, and many more!

Was it a fake??

Superb dial. Am sure that watch will become a collector
Enjoyed the video, thank you. I've got one coming.
Enjoy! I have really been liking mine.
I definitely do NOT like the cyclops on my King turtle Mantaray, and it should have had a lume at the 3'0clock. Outside of that it's a great watch.

It is a U.S. edition, easiest place I found to buy it is on eBay.
Hey where did you buy yours i can only find it at 599 at carat and co. And everywhere else cheaper looks sketchy

4r is a tank for a sport watch. 6r is a bit too dedicate. imo
