Man you taught me and my son a lot. My son started at the age of 12 look at your videos now 21 going to Thailand for the first with his Kru in November thank God for you 🙏. 😊
I am so grateful for your tips. Im 43 and severely out of shape and heavier, but confident MT will get me back. Maybe not as far back as I was in my 20s but enough to be healthy. Thanks again!
Great content Shane, always appreciated and learned a lot from you! Plus you may want to keep pointing the toes to lock the ankle when fatigued. Cheers~
I know nothing about this sport, but how does one kick so hard with their knee without hurting your kneecap? Presently I have a slight pain in my knee that hurts when I do one squat. I’m learning to do glutes exercises, what else can I do to heal my knee 😊.
It’s called a Kiai. It’s meant to add emotional intent to the strike, as well as help control your breathing. Their short exhales of air from your diaphragm, which is why the noises are always strange sounding lol. Similar to grunting while picking up a heavy object. Also you sound like a 3rd grader calling something so random gay 😂 Grow the fuck up kid.

You got this, consistency is key. You don't have to always do a lot, but you have to always do it!
That is really helpful; may Christ bless you and thanks for the helpful tip!
great tip, gets the body working in unison
Great tip Shane

Progression for knee strikes 🙏
Just imagine getting struck with one of those knee strikes. Aishhh... It's gonna be broken. 😂
I don't wanna tear down my house 😢
I always incorporate a thai clinch when practicing knees and elbows
Good one. 💯
Damnit caught me red handed
Bro straight up advertising new stuff and teaching at the same time like a baws! Time to drop some FTGR MMA gloves, sir!
We've got 2 different MMA style gloves on www.fighttipsgear.com, including a throwback to the vintage PRIDE MMA glove!
TIGER KNEE
whistlindiesel is this your second channel 🤔
hey shane with all due respect, is there a reason you're not pointing your toes with the knees?
Even as a boxer, i will start practising this. In case of a street fight.

Muay thai hurts, but with a good knee you will hurt your opponent more
Lunges and jump squats are good for your glutes
Tucking your heel close to your butt helps tighten up and solidify the kneecap.
@@fighttips Thank you.
the second biggest mistake is to strike with naked knees
What does it mean to strike with naked knees?
hey bro... bags don't hit back. Doesn't really matter if they're naked.
the sounds are hilarious and i restarted the video several times before watching
Talk about an ab workout, my gosh.
holy hell you look beefy here
Thank you 🙏☺️
Shane, why are you flaring your legs?
What did that poor bag do to you...Where s there a cop when you need one lol
Push with your lats

Grabbing the straps is cheating lol
If I'm having a fight with someone I will use and do anything to win!
Fucking cheating 😂😂😂😂
Cheating your workout. It's easier to do that, less taxing on the muscle.
What’s with MT dudes always making gay noises
@@kholsinger I have a gf. I’m not insecure about my heterosexuality if that’s what you’re implying
@@fahid3342its about breathing in and out with every punch or kick. Muay thai can be exhausting and in a fight you need good breathing and stamina.
I can only imagine how it feels knowing there is nothing you can do about it, though 😬
