Man, you work on things exactly like I do, but the difference is that I would have not realized about the gasket being off until I had assembled everything and it ran like crap!😂
A commonly overlooked issue: when reinstalling the flywheel cover assembly, pay close attention to how the heat shielding hooks into it. Missing one can/will result in a damaged cooling fan. Don’t ask me how I know.
What is that black hose at 11:50 that disappears into the depths of the engine? I notice mine came off at the carburetor and there was some sooty-looking stuff in the area all around where it was detached. The engine sounded a little weird but was running fine. I wiped off the area and plugged it back in but I can't figure out what it's supposed to do, since it's not the air or fuel intake.

@@scootersworld8537 Yes sir I had to go buy some of those torch tip cleaners and it runs like a champ now. Thank you for these videos!
What makes the carburetor go bad?
Letting gas set in them or stuff gets into the carburetor
When you let it sit too long with gas sitting in a carburetor best thing is to dream them when you know they're going to be setting for a while
To check your gas can make sure it doesn't have stuff in it
Thanks man! I never had a chance to learn this when I was younger. Appreciate it bud.
