      I have it on my 650i Gran Coupe - Night and Day. The car feels lite. Scary fast on Map 2 with no other mods.

    Great video!, however, its important to mention that Map zero will trigger CELs, unlike the others that remove CELs on entry. I got this info after having a CEL an calling Burger Motrosports.

    Just installed my jb4 on my 650i n63tu. However it does not clear codes on startup... is there something I'm missing?

    Have you used a back flash with your JB4? I have a 2011 BMW 550i with an N63. Have you heard of any back flashes that can be used? Have your tried the XHB transmission tune with the JB4? I have found that the JB4 and the BMS pedal tuner make a huge difference in the operation and performance of the car.

    So with how this works, of course this is a tune, but if this is not a redundant question it also adds more fuel correct, in relation to boost? Just like anything else? Thinking about getting this as my next Bimmer !

    great video as always - just wondering I thought the n63TU engines deleted the blow off/plumb back/diverter valve, but your intake sounds like it does have them?

    Hey brother I have the 2012 N63 in my 650i it’s a 2022 block I got it brand new through warranty I have one step colder plugs performance coils and Catless down pipes intake grill mounted and charger pipes I even put the M550i intercoolers in I’m having boost issues boost feels good but will only hit 13 PSI on JB4 when I had OEM intercoolers with stock boost map sensors I could hit 16 psi is it the cheap aftermarket sensors or is something not plugged in right I need help bro. I’m going to get some dialectic grease and OEM bmw genuine boost map sensors with one over look of everything. I have upgraded costel turbos idk I’m not getting the boost gains on the JB4 like normal I wanna use map six and due your exact setup.

    Did you have to purchase the blue tooth connection cables with this? Looking on the website the cables look to be optional, but not sure how you could communicate with the controller without them?

      To run from a phone or tablet yes, otherwise you need a laptop.

    When the JB4 clears codes on start ups, does it also clear the car emission monitors or does it keep those intact you can pass smog?

    I have an F10 535i 2014 . I have the JB4 installed on my car however I don’t have the Bluetooth on the vehicle for the jb4.. I have to get the Bluetooth in order for me to adjust the boost on my turbo vehicleAny suggestion will be appreciate it

    Hey splittmods love all your vids n info you give with details. I have a 2014 550i with arm catless downpipes and I plan on getting cold air intakes n possibly muffler delete. I plan on stopping there would you recommend i get a jb4 for this. Thanks

      Yes, while all of this other mods will add about 35-45 hp, the JB4 will be a game changer.

      I'm about a year late but I have had jb4 for a few months and love it. I just installed arm catless downpipes and I have a bunch of codes now and have been getting the drivetrain malfunction. Did you have any issues after the downpipe install?

    Hello, may I ask. What year is your car? I have a 2013 X5 with the N63 non TU engine. I jad the jb4 on it and it Never worked well on this platform. I've used the jb4 on my 335i and Loved it! I am in the market and was thinking of getting a 535i. What do you think? I am also in Florida. It would be great to get some info. from you.

    I have a 14 550. Terry told me map 1 only tmaps map 2 needs bcm connectors. Then not to go north of map 2 without fuel. Also told me not to swap to higher bar sensors until I did fuel. Any thoughts? You haven't done fuel yet what do your afrs look like at 20+ boost.

      I would follow whatever Terry told you for your vehicle. You wouldn’t need Tmap until going over 21psi as the stock Tmap will be fine. As far as fuel, my understanding is the need for fuel is over 19psi or so. I would always lean to the side of caution. I will say I run E30 and have successfully ran 22-23psi without issue, but that is me living in the edge and would not recommend it.

      @@splittlive Are you daily running e30? I have to make a special trip for e85 which sucks but I'd do it more often if you're noticing more consistent safe afrs at higher boost. Terry recommended I play with e30-e25. I'm also thinking off tossing meth on truthfully at this point waiting on you lol.

    I need some help...I just put in the jb4 into my 2013 550i xdrive m sport BMW and my car doesn't have any boost now, its running in limp mod (meaning its only using half the power)etc. the mods that i put into the car was the 3.5 tmap sensors (i change the jb4 map value to 1),and i put in a cold air intake. the car had all its power b4 i put in the jb4. the codes that i got from the jb4 is 120408 reduced power mode,121002 map sensor,102501 no description found,102601 description found,108001 description found,108101 description found,108001 maf sensor electrical short circuit to b+,1102b01 description found,000000 description found...

      i heard some people have issues if they opened the car doors while installing the jb4 it allows it to recognize the install but thats just sometyhing ive read

    For your catless downpipes which fitment do I get the flange or slip fit, by the way my exhaust is fully stock

      My 2011 required flange. I think the rest of the model years after that are slip fit.

      @@divyeshchandrika1474 if you have a 2011, that's correct. The website I bought them from said they would fit, but they didn't. I had to return my ARM downpipes.

      I was on map2, however I had the duty bias’s adjusted. I believe it peaked at 23psi. However this is not recommended as you can get over boosting, better to do it with meth and map 8 or user adjustable map 6.

      @@splittlive hey good brother....whats the difference between ....JB4 .....AND.....BOOTMOD3?......I have a 2013 750 i N63TU .....94K....non smoking from the read at all....i put in a quart from time to time but thats it....but for stock....it runs like hell if i put my foot in it.....i changed the plugs.....IRIDIUM.....AND COILS STOCK.....thats it.....i do want a lil more power just in case a S550 decides to get cute.....i can get cute right back....help me out

    What are your opinions on the 230F/110C thermo/oil temp? I purchased a new 2013 550i which had the N63 motor and it began experiencing oil burning issues around 10k miles in less than two years. I was lucky enough to rid of it under lemon law, this was way before BMW lost their lawsuit and initiated the CCP. I swapped to a 2013 650 which has the same N63TU motor as you do. Now at around 48K miles, I find myself adding a quart every 600-800 miles under gentle to moderate driving (stock). Obviously out of warranty sans a few fuel delivery system extended warranties, the car is beginning to experience the same exact issues the N63 did (smoking out the tail pipe, high oil consumption etc...). Is swapping to a 90c thermostat a good idea? What else can you recommend to decrease oil temps? I can't imagine constantly adding oil for the rest of the life of the car is ideal either. It seems like your motor has been treating you well - and if you ever decide to swap the valve seals to the updated model, please show us how as well! Thank you so much for posting your progress with your mods, your videos have been an unique offering to the N63 community.

      Valve seals. Happens with ALL of them . Have done one metric crap ton of them jb4 isn't ur issue . It's the Viton composit seals . Too hard to hold a seal . I've done em as early as 40k
